Moral support needed! ... 75mcgs Levo and 20 mcgs T3....... Still exhausted.
I've been told I can only raise by 5mcgs every 2 weeks because of the
psychosis
which has gone thank goodness but reappears if I raise too quickly. Just suppose I need to a bit of moral support to tell me I'm heading in the right direction.x

Was it ppp??
I was wondering if anyone else developed
psychosis
a few months after having their baby. Also did anyone develop
psychosis
after being put on anti depressants. I have also had 3 psychotic episodes since I was diagnosed with ppp.

CBD oil
So, I was speaking to a chap in glasgow who suffers from
psychosis
. He couldn't sing its praises enough. Add that to the fact the ampule in the bottle of cibdol we have doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle has led me to buying a bottle of the better oil this guy recommended.

Anyone else really tired?
I seem to be a regular here but just wondered if anyone else was exhausted after suffering from PP? I had PP in March 2014, probably five days after birth of my son. Prescribed Aripriprizole. This made me feel really sleepy. Came off medication in May this year but I still feel tired all the time. My

Please can you advise me.....endo has upped my T3 and I'm now in unfamiliar territory..
My latest bloods are TSH 0.13 (0.35-5.6) FT4 10.20 (7.5-21.1) FT3 5.40 (3.8-6.8) So I am not to increase my levothyroxine as he is still concerned about the
psychosis
which it seems to induce. He has asked me to dose 3 or 4 times a day.

Am I alone and will It ever go away
Hi I suffered with PP in 2013, after the birth of my first child, I had never heard of it before, also once the physcosis subsided I was left with severe anxiety and depression. As the literature advised it was roughly a year before I felt ok again. Another year has passed now and I have had periods

psychiatric symptoms associated with lupus
I read somewhere that lupus can cause psychiatric symptoms such as
psychosis
. I have had a few experiences of
psychosis
recently and had to go into the hospital and they tried to diagnose me with schizophrenia.

As postpartum
psychosis
is an illness I personally suffered with, APP is a charity I hold close to my heart. My personal fear was contracting germs or illnesses and passing them on to my daughter. Therefore avoided anywhere I felt was 'dirty' or contaminated, which was practically everywhere!

Latest bloods with added T3 .....psychosis seems to have gone.... Need advice
(3.1-6.8)
Psychosis
seems to have disappeared. Only odd moments of normal depression which don't last too long. I do have more energy but am still in physical pain.....feet, shoulders, neck.

Mental health
I suffer from a mental health condition called
psychosis
I have it due to a number of past life experiences messing me up a lot. It causes me to have very bad mood disorder. I have been taken off my medication due to it possibly effecting the baby while its developing.

My psychosis situation and raising Levothyroxine.......developments!!
Well as you all know everytime I raised my levo by 12.5 mcgs I got
psychosis
which would last a few hours for a few days then subside. I have since seen the NHS Endo who was VERY sympathetic and decided enough was enough!!

33 years since PP!
It has inspired me to find out more about postpartum
psychosis
and lo and behold I found you. Wish I had the chance to share my experiences following my episode all those years ago. I was sectioned and hospitalised for 8 weeks following the birth of my first child.

Holiday Insurance
I'm going on a trip to the US this summer and looking into holiday insurance. Do I need to declare my PPP and PND? I'm totally fine now and medication free for two years (my son is 3.5yo). The docs have said it is very unlikely to come back, only if I have another baby. I don't like not being totally

How motherhood should be! Long post (sorry!)
My second baby is 2 weeks old today. That means I am past the real danger zone for a repeat episode and, although there is still a heightened risk until he is 6 weeks old, I honestly can't see there being any chance of me getting ill again as everything is just so different and amazing this time around

PP even after preventative meds?
I would like to hear from anyone who had PP even after taking all preventative measures, as in medication strait after birth and a prevention plan in place with the doctor and support. I would like to try for another baby but my husband does not want to risk me becoming unwell again. My doctor said

A little help please? :)
Hello everyone. I'm very new here. I've been looking online for information on PP for a while and only just found this. I hope you can give me some advice. I suffered from PP in early December 2014. I went through all the usual symptoms and was eventually sectioned when my little girl was 9 days old
