clinical trails for metastatic castrate resistant pc
Can switching hormone therapy- (currently taking oorgovix and zytiga) possibly bring
PSA
down again? Any promising clinical trials we should ask about? Thoughts on provenge? Not sure pluvicto would work here, psma scan not lighting up yet

PSA
kept going. Started chemo 2 weeks ago. This spring and summer I've slid way back, lots of muscular atrophy and weight loss. I'm getting ahead of the pain, at least for now.

He lived a wonderful life
We initially learned of his very high
PSA
level on 10/14/2021 (two years prior), with the diagnosis of Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer soon thereafter. In addition to advanced prostate cancer, he had dementia that progressed significantly in his last several months.

MSK Consult Today
He believes that with my husband’s initial high
psa
(47), and subsequent stage 3b with Gleason 9, that these nodes may have already been positive at dx, but that they were too small for a CT scan or MRI to detect. The neoadjuvant 3 month Lupron put them to sleep.

Full Pelvic Radiation
My doc stopped the orgovyx I was taking because after just 2 weeks my
PSA
started to rise 10 points, then the second month it had risen another 10 points.. So now I just got my first Lupron injection. I chose once a month injections to see how well it works.

Nerves taken
A friend just shared that he had a G8 and a
psa
of 10.2. He had a RALP and the doc said the cancer was contained to the prostate. Then he said that the doc took both nerve bundles (R & L). How is the cancer contained but required both nerve bundles to be taken?

Anomaly PSA jump of more than 25%?
I am not happy with husband's doctor as I pushed to have PSMA-PET done after this jump (before this last
PSA
there was 6 years of stable
PSA
following RT w/o ADT), but both husband and doctor said, wait.

Another positive lymph node
Surgical removal at Mayo. 2003 (one year to the date of surgery)
PSA
was detectable and he had radiation at Mayo. Fast forward 2015,
psa
detectable again, put on Lupron. C-11 choline scans every 3 months, appt. with Dr. Kwon afterwards, and monthly
psa
tests/Lupron injections.

Just had Psma-pet scan... Confused
Understandably, my
PSA
at the time was 480. After 1 year on ADT and 8 months of Xtandi another Axium showed mets in calvarial region (skull), neck and clavicle no longer present...
PSA
plummeted down to current and holding at around 2.

PSMA Results
My
PSA
is currently 0.670, with a doubling time of approximately six months. I’ve just had a second PSMA and they found a spot in my left pubic bone, right iliac area and the prostate bed. They are now suggesting radiotherapy to the three areas together with hormone treatment.

Biopsy results in 2 weeks - questions?
My
PSA
was 12 and an MRI scan showed a dodgy area on the front of the prostate. My PI-RADS score was 5. I was then booked for a biopsy which got deferred 3 times. I was told I would get the results within 2 weeks. Over 2 weeks later I got 2 separate letters giving me the appointment.

Psoriatic arthritis
Could this actually be
PSA
or is utterly something totally different? Will post this on the NRAS forum as well as I'm not sure where would be best to get advice. Thank you
