8/4/23 Update questions for MO
To review, after 19 months on Lupron, Zytiga, prednisone,
PSA
increased on 1/23 to 0.253, then 0.309 on 2/21. Plarify scan showed only one active site in hip which was radiated. 4/4
PSA
dropped to 0.24 which indicated the lesion was knocked out and I would be hormone sensitive and stay on Zytiga.

ADT and bone health
My recent
PSA
has been increasing from .2 to .7 over 6 months and my onco is starting me on Nubeqa in Nov. because of the milder side effects. I have read the replies concerning bone health and I want to hear what has worked for anyone who is in my stage.

Clinical Trial Considerations??
At that point,
PSA
was in the low 4βs. Earlier this year,
PSA
rose to 6.7. MRI and guided biopsy uncovered one Gleason 4+4, so my AS days are over. The tumor is small: 3mm long and 14% of the core. PSMA scan indicates no spread. For treatment, Iβve chosen radiation at UT Southwestern in Dallas.

MRI guided Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) for favorable intermediate recurrence?
Pre ablation
PSA
was 5.76. Post ablation
PSA
1.25, eventually rising to 1.96. One year later, left side clean in MRI and biopsy. However, right side determined to have 2 cores with 3+4, and 4+3.

ED no more
We stayed for 4 months and my
PSA
dropped to 0.14 and cleared up my mets. The following year my
PSA
started doubling again so I went back. This time I had one more round of Lute 177 that completely restored my spine and cleared up some remaining mets.

I hope and pray that both the testosterone and the

continue to remain at low levels.

Minimum PSA for GA-68 PSMA Scan
My
PSA
rose, but only a very minimal amount. I have been on Eligard and abiraterone for five years and my
PSA
has always been <.05 ng/ml and my last test came back .05 ng/ml with all
PSA
tests performed at the same lab.

Medicare Advantage vs. Medicare+Medicare Supplement
My
PSA
is now spiking and has jumped from 18 to 33 from mid Sep to early Oct. So I'm working on changing treatment from chemo to Xofigo (Radium-223) Please share your experience/knowledge regarding chemo or Xofigo coverage with Medicare+Medicare Supplement+stand alone drug plan.

So unsure what to do...
I am a 53 year old gay man and I have had raised
PSA
since 2020. My urologist performed a DRE and felt nothing and decided that we should watch the number and see what happens. 1 year later, the urologist decided to send me for an MRI and it showed no signs of cancer.

Pluvicto
My
PSA
fell from about 90 to 35 after the first dose and to about 15 after the second. What they measure in the blood work has either been within the normal range or showing a positive trend. The scans show no new mets, a visible reduction in the old ones, and a notable size reduction in several.

What should I expect at the end?
His
PSA
is doubling each week now that his medication is no longer working and has risen from 200 to 600 since December. The goal is to keep him comfortable and happy, but Iβm wondering what the end may look like at this stage and if anyone has any input.
