Stopping Abi?
PSA
reached undetectable early in my treatment and remains undetectable. SE. aren’t fun, but manageable. Don’t know the specific SE associated with Abi vs Eligard, since treatment on each commenced at the same time.

PSMA pet scan negative
My
PSA
was 0.1 on july 17th and 0.3 on Oct 16th. PSMA scan was done on Nov 7th but was negative. Am I safe to assume there must be some prostate cancer cell present that are not showing up on the scan? I am meeting with my MO at Dana Farber next week Any suggestions moving forward?

Might blood be good news?
As of today, I'm waiting for definitive results from a
PSA
(after infusion #1,
PSA
dropped slightly) but of the above symptoms, the only one I still have is blood in the urine. All the discomfort and rectal pains have gone.

Combine standard care with alternative care
My
PSA
in three months went from 58 to 70 with alternative treatment so I intend to take two Relugolix pills to lower it and continue the alternative care. My oncologist disagrees as does my naturopath but the U of M demonstrated what works. What say you.

What's next?
PSA
and it's jumped from 40 to 91. Wondering if there's any way to know if/when symptoms will start appearing due to PCa's further or worsening spread?

Treatment options
His
PSA
went from his initial diagnosis of 52 to under 0.03 for several months. He has Kaiser HMO and unfortunately his oncologist retired at the time his
PSA
starting trending upward. He was put on Docetaxel by the new oncologist and his
PSA
continued to rise.

Bicalutamide and Eligard
PSA
went up to 0.87. Doctor recommend Eligard (Lupron) with bicalutimide and dutasteride. No choice. I went thru thus on Jan 10, 2024. Hospital said I have to run thru Eligard for 24 months on a quarterly basis. Every 3 month.

Orchiectomy
I have been on Lupron Xtandi and Hi dose Vitamin C for the last 19 months my current
PSA
is <0.1 and has been for the last 6 months. I am 83 years old and am in reasonable good health, other than pc. I have read that having an orchiectomy would yield longer life. Also I could get off of Lupron.

Any advice for a specialist in NYC to monitor my post-RP PSA?
So, still "undetectable" (ie <0.05), but I've been advised to get the
PSA
checked every 3 months. So, can anyone chime in to recommend a specialist to help me monitor my
PSA
? I assume a urologist is in order, unless my
PSA
does increase. Or maybe even just a GP?
