Prucalopride

The Gastroenterolist was very vague towards me and said he was not allowed to perscibe it, ( Prucalopride ) which I thought was strange as he is a consultant.

Does anyone have any experiences with Resolor ( Prucalopride) that they could share with me? I have just been prescribed these for chronic constipation which I've had since birth.

Hi, I was diagnosed with IBS-C by my gastroenologyist and was prescibed prucalopride to help with the consitipation. I still get a lot of bloating and a lot of pain, can anyone advise of any ways to combat the bloating?

Has anyone had prucalopride prescribed for constipation and if so what was your experience? Thanks

I now have several concerns: I don’t want to become reliant on prucalopride as I have been on bisocodyl, because while its helping the important symptom its doing so by masking it, not tackling the problem. Does anyone else have any experience with prucalopride?

I tried everything, all the new drugs prucalopride, linaclotide none of them worked for long. Then I started using an enema,peristeen, which worked for about two weeks then this stopped working also in the end I had an illeostomy but I am still suffering terrible cramps and pains.

absolutely no results I was so desperate I resorted to using hot salt water just to make myself go, finally after nearly six years of being ignored I was sent to gastroenterologist who solved my problem of IBS and Diverticular decease within a 45 min appointment, and put me on a new medication called prucalopride

I have been on prucalopride for a year but I'm so fed up of being given laxatives that don't seem to make any difference.

I have tried Prucalopride and Linzess with limited success. They are not cheap as I have to pay privately for them, so would like some advice before I buy. I used to take Zelnorm before it was taken off the market and that worked well.
