I'm currently in Mazatlan, Mx, where the only option is open prostatectomy. I've talked with 2 Urologists and the biopsy MD. I have Medicare A, won't have B until July1.

as a quick summary : he is Stage 4 (metastatic/involvement in two of the four lymph nodes that were harvested during the prostatectomy). Scans were clear (for bone mets/organs) as of July 21. He received his first injection of Eligard on Sept.27.

One year ago I had a radical prostatectomy at Mayo Clinic in Rochester by a very accomplished surgeon. Had one lymph node that was cancerous and recent PSA was .20. Radiation therapy is option. Should I do this at Mayo or come back to local hospital where I am not certain about quality?

Trying to gather information on anyone with a positive surgical margin after prostatectomy. My margin was 2 mm with a gleason 6. Should I opt for adjuvant radiation. I’m only 4 weeks out after surgery so I have not had a psa test done. Will get one at six week post op.

I was a reasonably fit 52 year old guy when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March this year 3TB Gleason of 9 and was operated on in May (open radical prostatectomy). He already had prostatectomy in 2011 and Radiation in 2014. He begun taking zytga 1000mg a day plus the firmagon shot every 28 days. Has anybody been on this treatment and for how long? Do you stop soon after psa drops?

Had radical prostatectomy in Nov 2002; followed by 37 treatments of beam radiation and 5 quarterly injections of Lupron and daily casodex pill beginning in Feb 2004. Went into remission until about 3 years ago; began casodex last year started back on quarterly injections in Jan 2017.

I had my prostatectomy Oct 2016 and a Gleason 10 age 65. Am on casodex daily and lupron injections every three months. My question relates to anyone with lung mets? And treatment? I have been told radiation is probably out due to broad area of involvement. Thanking you all in advanced!
