But when I went in the pharmacy to make sure they were able to get Colomycin they have agreed to take back the Promixin and dispense Colomycin. Result! I have had change of brands on some of my other meds but I just feel more comfortable sticking to what I know in this case.

But when I collected the meds from my local pharmacy they had dispensed Promixin instead. Anyone else had this problem and any opinions please on which is best. I’m colonised with pseudomonas, I have bronchiectasis and asthma. Thank you so much for any advice or experience.

has anyone bought a nebuliser on line for taking salineb 7%, if so any recommendations on which one to buy , I use an ineb to take my antibiotics which is promixin for pseudomonas, but it only takes 1 mil at a time so not really satisfactory thanks in advance for any help.

I’ve been on promixin nebulisers for two or three years now twice a day. I experienced night sweats occasionally where I wake up cold with damp sheets and hair and have to change my pjs in the middle of the night.

Is anyone out there on promixin via I neb? I have 1vial twice a day. How much water do you use to dilute powder before use in I neb. Thank you

After a lengthy battle I finally got Promixin prescribed and have the Philips rep due on Wednesday to bring my I-neb. Looking at the Promixin box it says for infusion and doesn't appear to have a disc inside. Is there a Promixin for inhalation and have I been prescribed the wrong kind? Thank you.

Hi, Thanks to all who replied to my previous post. I have just had a call to say my I-neb will be delivered next Tuesday. I will let you know how I get on with it. xx
