How much T3 do you keep as backup?
I have to order a repeat T3 prescription in the next couple of day from a private GP at a lab and as I will be going away from home for approx 3 months I will have to request a large amount. It made me think that I should probably keep a reasonably large bank of T3 since running out could be very nasty

Vitamin B6 in B Complexes
Seeking advice on Vitamin B6 in B Complexes. Background: Diagnosed hypothyroid since the late 1990's; switched to T3 liothyronine only since about 2014 because levothyroxine didn't help me . Diagnosed with Parkinson's (finally!) in early 2023. Currently under the care of a movement disorders specialist

T4 not being increased by GP
Hi everyone hope you are all doing g good and still fighting for your health! Following on from my previous post. A new GP in my practise wouldn’t increase my levo to 100mcg until she had the go ahead from endocrinology. They have decided that I am adequately medicated and won’t increase due to heart

Multiple Iron Infusions.
I had an iron infusion two years ago for RLS. Before the infusion my ferritin was down to about 100 and it rose to about 350 Unfortunately my RLS didn't respond to this and I couldn't detect any improvement over the next 12 months. My ferritin decreased over 2 years to 200 and then gradually

I think T3 should be available in the cleaning products aisle!
Small increase and I turn into a cleaning demon! All the jobs that get put off like window cleaning get tackled which leads to other things getting it too 🪟🪣🧹 😁

Painful legs at night
My endo put me on 100mcg of Levothyroxine and 10mcg of T3 twice a day, three weeks ago to help me out of hypothyroidism. I'm also on a cocktail of drugs to help with my anxiety and depression, but there have been no changes with these. Over the past five nights I've been kept awake by experiencing

Side effects on combination therapy : thyroxine and T3
I have been on combination therapy for about 7 weeks. I have noticed I am quite breathless and this looks like it can be related but unusual. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Another adjustment
Ok, so my table needed to first :-) not sure how to move it down, but please read below... First, thanks for this great community. I have benefited from lots of wisdom and experience over the past three years. Last year my endo freaked when my TSH was low. I attempted to stand up for myself, but

New T3 prescription help please
After 3 years my endo finaly prescribed a trial of T3....but, as some have mentioned on here...it seems like they almost set you up to fail. What I mean by this is that I've been on Levo for 25+ years and the Endo has prescribed 12.5mcg twice daily, making it 25mcg a day !!! which (I may be mistaken)

RLS and changing meds
I have been on roprinerole xl (2mg and 4 mg) and the regular. Mostly I take the regular one because the insurance companies don't like to pay for the extended release. Right now, I cut a 4mg regular into 4 equal parts. I take two parts at night, so that's a 2 mg at bedtime and 1 and 1 earlier during

Advice finding thyroid specialist
Hi, my T4 levels have dropped from 20 to 15 since having an increase in Levothyroxine and feeling unwell with hypothyroid symptoms, it's just dismissed by NHS Endochrinologist & docs. My health and physical ability has diminished since taking Levothyroxine over the past year. So I'm looking for a Private

T3 trial continues
Hi there - here are my latest bloods - done fasting with no meds and before 9am - last dose of levo 24 hours before - last dose T3 12 hours before I've worked hard at improving vitamins and minerals - still ferritin is a bit low but currently on a dose of iron tabs from GP so may improve by the end

Confused. Do I really need Levo?
Hi all, hope you can help/advise. I have had sub-clinical hypothyroidism (diagnosed by TSH level only 😕) for approx 20 years. I was made aware of this and prescribed Levothyroxine only a couple of years ago when my TSH reached 10 (apparently full-blown hypothyroidism). The thing is, my FT 4 has always

Reactive hypoglycemia (suspected): low carb/ high protein diet.
Hello everyone. : I have suspected reactive hypoglycemia ( Hashis, MCAS, ME/ CFS, Fibromyalgia, amongst other diagnoses, as well as perimenopausal). Thyroid Meds: Armour NDT. The RH has not yet been confirmed by a medical professional, but due to the ongoing and worsening symptoms, and extreme carb
