pd and versed
I have an upcoming tooth extraction. The periodontist will be using Versed as an anesthetic/tranquilizer. Does anyone have any experience of negative interactions with sinemet or other contraindications? Thanks.

Has anyone had any progress with B1 protocol while taking a multivitamin or other supplements ( fish oil, turmeric..) ???
I have been taking B1 since mid September but I have not found my magic dose yet . Dr. C has been working on my dosage. However, i am wondering if anyone has achieved an optional level while taking a multivitamin or anyother nutritional supplements? My balance and freezing of gait are beginning to

KETAMINE STILLS PARKINSON'S
Neuroscientist Torsten Falk's research indicates that the anesthetic ketamine eases dyskinesia in rodents and also in five Parkinson's patients who were already taking it for pain relief. Repurposing ketamine for dyskinesia could get it to patients quicker. It's already been safety tested at higher doses

Hi does anyone have an experience with the condition Cystitis Cystica? I’m an Endo sufferer and had a bladder op in October due to constant UTIs and symptoms of UTIs when I didn’t even have one. Bladder pain/spasms and traces of blood in my wee even when no infection. Several cysts were found so my surgeon

Is the levodopa in sinement any different then the levodopa in mucuna?
This may be a stupid question but Is the levodopa in sinement any different then the levodopa in mucuna? one synthetic vs one natural? the levodopa crosses the blood brain barrier with inclusion of carbidopa and the levodopa in mucuna has nothing aiding this transfer thus less reaches the brain (unless

Generic world
I haven't seen this addressed before although I'm sure it has been: Generic Drugs. I was diagnosed about 9 years ago and started out on Ropinirole and Carbidopa/Levodopa 50/200. The C/L was generic. I don't believe I have ever taken Sinemet, the name brand. My neurologist gave me several samples

Decision Time
I have been on Azilect since my original diagnosis in March 2015. I exercise regularly. My doctor thinks it is time to introduce levodopa. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on the pros and cons of going on levodopa. Many thanks in advance.

Finally, an explanation of Parkinson's? Very very important article. Retroviruses.
https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2099/12/31/retrovirus.aspx Hope everybody will get a chance to read this. Immensely interesting, it makes great sense to me. Mentions Lyme disease, mentions methylation. Methylation is related to B1. Mentions antivirals that's what amantadine is. Mentions

Lupus?
Ok so I'm new here, I'm 39 and have been suffering with an unknown illness for about 15 years now. It started when I was 22 with what I thought to be constant urinary tract infections as constantly had protein in my urine, finally after 8 years of being pumped full of antibiotics which did nothing, My

Simon and Mucuna Pruriens
Guys. Simon of Science of Parkinsons fame, wrote the following about Mucuna Pruriens. I'm pretty disturbed by this as I'm a MP taker and somewhat puzzled as elsewhere he claims that in trials MP has consistently performed much better than CL when it comes to dyskinesia. I thought that this was the appeal

Increasing Levodopa too quickly?
Posting here as it's so hard to talk to my mums' neurologist. Mum (96) is on Levodopa 125 three times a day and 125 half Sinemet at night. I believe she has been undermedicated for absolutely ages and has terrible drops every day. Neurologist has just given a prescription for 62mg to be added to her

Titles elude me
Having had ear, sinus and lung challenges my entire life, ( I'm 64 ) I was finally confirmed as having at least two pathogenic variants of
primary
ciliary
dyskinesia
and a single gene marker for cystic fibrosis.
