Ectopic like feeling that lasts 2-3 seconds. What is it?
Hello everyone. I know this topic is discussed frequently but I really need help with this weird feeling concerning my heart. I get PVC's and PAC's mostly everyday and although these gave me quite the scare when they first appeared now they are just a nuisance. But maybe twice a month I get this different

A little worried...could I have vEDS?
Hello, I'm Lisa, 29 years old and here goes my story... Back in 2017 I went to my dermatologist because my hair was falling out a lot. She ran some tests, one of them being an ANA which came back positive. I went to see a rheumy and she said i have mild Lupus...I should note, before I was diagnosed with

General malaise
Hi, I am a bit confused by my symptoms and wonder whether anyone can help? Over the past few weeks I have been feeling very strange - a general malaise, nausea, loss of appetite and occasional chest discomfort, centred near the sternum. As a result of all this, I also feel generally restless. This morning

Extreme fluctuating pulse, all tests normal. Ablation done 2 years ago.
Hi everyone, Just curious if anybody else finds themselves in the same predicament as me? In 2014, I started suffering terribly frequent PVCs (ectopics), around 10,000 a day, as well as a very unsteady pulse. I had an ablation in February 2016, and this thankfully was successful and eliminated 98% of

My ablation experience
Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent ablation experience as I know there are others who have upcoming procedures and still others who are deciding whether or not to go the ablation route to address their arrhythmias. Since I found the experiences of others helpful in my own decision making and coping

PVC’s
Anyone got any good advice to reduce PVCs - mine are horrific at the moment - had constant for a week now - around 10-15 a minute. I have cardiomyopathy - hence the issue - but the PVCs are like never before at the minute - mainly when I’m resting sand my heart is lower than 65bpm Any experiences that

Waking up every morning with heart racing like crazy.. extremely worried
I have suffered from health anxiety/general anxiety for 8 years, but recently it's been VERY tough.. I've had premature ventricular contractions as long as I can remember, and this is what (I think) triggered my health anxiety at an early age, but recently I've been feeling all sorts of new/different

One beta blocker pill changed everything?
So if you've read any of my previous posts, you know that I've been a sufferer of PVCs since September. I was finally given beta blockers in Dec, and i took my first pill. It was pretty much instant relief which i didn't expect. And i went days without feeling pvcs, then i started feeling them again

Finally a Diagnosis
Hello everyone! I have been reading a lot of posts on this forum while I waited for my holter results. It all started 8 years ago when I was 25. I had just gotten out of the Army and was in the best shape of my life. One evening, my band was performing (drummer) when I felt my heart beating so fast,

SVT new diagnosis
Hello. I am 46 and very healthy. I have been having bad palpitations for 3 years. Always had them but they were never debilitating or caused me to have to adjust my lifestyle. Now they are intense. Following a halter monitor, they picked up a run of 8beats at 199bpm of SVT. And occasional PVC’s. I am

SVT episode or...?
Hi all, new here! I'm 33 years old and have a long history of PVCs and POTS as well as very random and rare SVT episodes, also a history of panic disorder. Tonight after a full stomach (bad trigger) I went downstairs to do laundry and came upstairs with a heavy finished load. I sat it on my bed, whilst

Heart beats very strong after standing up
Hello everyone. Sometimes when I sit up from a lying position or stand up from sitting, I feel a couple of very pressurized beats, my heart beats very strongly(not fast) for a couple of beats then the pressure is relieved. This does not happen everytime and normally when I sit up I just don’t feel anything

Skipped Heartbeats
I was wondering if anyone else has been diagnosed w palpitations/PVCs/ectopic heartbeats. I had a normal EKG, but since I have about one PVC(basically an extra heartbeat, feels like a skipped beat) every minute, next week I am gonna do a 48 hour holter monitor. However, I am very anxious about these

Sudden slow heart rate right after sitting up or standing.
Hello everyone. I realised that sonetimes when I sit up from a lying position or stand up from sitting, my heart rate drops for a couple of beats then starts increasing to where it should be. For example my resting heart rate is say 65 beats after I sit up it drops to 55 for a couple of beats then rises

Is Digoxin a high risk drug
Has anyone suffered from Digoxin toxicity, what were your symptoms and how did you recover. I am very slowly recovering from an Atrial Flutter cardioversion 6 week ago. I was then started on Digoxin 1.25 along with Rivaroxipan and reduced Bisopropolol 2.5. Doc thought the flutter was something to do
