Changing medication from Ropinirole to Pramipexole. How to make it?
For example is the Ropinirole 0,5 mg more or less same as the
Pramipexole
0,088 mg? Originally the first neurolog suggested me Ropinirole 1-2mg, but luckily 0,5 mg has been enough for me. I was fine with the Ropinirole and feel now a bit stressed when I have to change the medicine.

I'm suffering badly with Pramipexole withdrawal despite help with Temgesic. Any advice please.
I'm sorry I've been off the forum lately but I'm really struggling with coming off
Pramipexole
. I have been reducing the prami by about a quarter of a 0.125/.088 a week and been taking Temgesic since early October. The Temgesic can no longer control the RL so I'm wondering what I can do next.

I have had RLS for 40years
I am currently taking 6mg of
Pramipexole
at bedtime and I am rarely completely spasum free I have spasums in my arms as well as my legs and on the very rare occasion I have run out I suffered the most unbearable agonies. I am now 72 years old and I am afraid for my life.

Don't think I've had a good sleep for years.my doctor gave me
Pramipexole
a parkinson drug for the problem. I have fibromyalgia and fatty liver. Does anyone have pain in left side under the rib?

Starting on Ropinirol
and got really scared when I read about it here. Doesn’t anyone has good experience of Ropinirol? I have been on Pramipexol for many years but it doesn’t work anymore due to the augmentation. Started on Gabapentin a year ago and that has been a really bad experience for me - sooo tired all the time

Blood blisters in the mouth and more.
Hi everyone. Hope you are all as well as possible. Does anyone ever get blood blisters in the mouth? I've had a lot of them over the last few months. I'm a little bit worried as I'm getting short of breath at times and I had a leg cramp that was so painful I couldn't weight bear on it for several days

COVID and RLS
My current treatment regime for dealing with augmentation from
Pramipexole
has been OK but since developing covid nothing works. I have Covid plus symptoms of RLS 24/7 right through my body.

To C/L or not to C/L ?
Dr. suggests Premidone or
Pramipexole
. Any thoughts on either? I am totally ignorant of either one. I can live with my life as is but always looking for answers.

Medication help
My questions are do either Ropinirole XL or Rotigotine patch have less chance of augmentation than the other dopamine meds (
Pramipexole
) as I'm thinking of trying them alongside my Gabapentin. The other question is should I change from Gabapentin to Pregabalin.

New here... Looking for options
Hi... I am new here. RLS sufferer for 48 years (since age 6) and diagnosed 20 years ago. question... what would one do for their RLS if they go off of Pramipexol? I am on pramipexol (0.5mg 2x/day) & Gabapentin (300-600 mg/day). I've tried everything out there and am now somewhat trying CBD oil and cutting

Staying on low dose of Pramipexole
I wrote on here a few weeks ago, about wanting to reduce my
Pramipexole
, then getting no sleep because my uninformed doctor thought I could get down to the very minimum in just 9 days.

UPDATE
I have written a few times on this site. It is pretty obvious from all the entries by different sufferers and what they say and recommend that this awful disease has different properties for different people. It is very individual, and the remedies are as well. It's whatever works for you, the problem

I'm new here
Experienced rebound and possibly augmentation with sinemet, Took
pramipexole
for about ten years and switched to ropinirole three years ago when
pramipexole
was no longer effective. Am now definitely experiencing augmentation with ropinirole and am in the process of weaning myself off it.

I hate my GP - making me feel like a drug addict
I have tried
Pramipexole
and also now on Gabapentin 900mg. She said she would not prescribe painkillers at all for RLS as they are addictive and stop working. I asked to be referred to Neurologist who would prescribe them.

Just started to come off Pramipexole .. any one else finding it really tough?
I has been four weeks since my specialist has placed me on gabapentin, carbamazapine and clorazapam in preparation for me to come off
pramipexole
after 22 years. Last Monday was the first drop in
pramipexole
, -0.0088mg from my morning 'dose'.

The cold turkey thing worked
Dear All, thanks for all the kind words, and advice when i wrote two months ago i had gone cold turkey off Pramipexol and after 10 days I still had restless legs but nothing like the electric shock type symptoms when on the meds, and I was still waking up every half an hour. I went gluten free, sugar

roll back in medicines.
Months ago I had to stop
pramipexole
( 1,05 a day ) as rigidity was causing problems. Had to switch to levodopa 25/100 half a pill twice a day. After some months, for my curiosity, I switched back to 0,52
pramipexole
, quitting levodopa.

Medication concerns
I have been on the max dose of
pramipexole
for 15 yrs . I am also taking proclorperazine and oxybutynin all of which (I have read) can contribute to early onset Alzheimer’s Does anyone have any experience of this or had had success with changing rls and/or musculoskeletal prescriptions Thanks
