Codiene & RLS.
Hi hoochybaby I have been on most medications, most resent pregablin
pramipexole
& codeine which was increased to 60mgs . I am awaiting a telephone consultation with my nurologist. As I am now aware that the side effects of these meds are not good also I am sure I am augmenting.

I have severe restless syndrome. Is lipitor aggravating my restless leg syndrome?
I've been taking
pramipexole
for it for the last 10 years or so and it's under control. however I recently had a heart attack and my doctor put me on at 80 mg dose of Lipitor. Or the generic form of it anyways. The last few nights in a row when I've gone to bed I've gotten restless leg ugh!

Temgesic success
I'd given up by this time because everything had failed – gabas,
Pramipexole
, Oxycodone. I was a traumatised, terrorised. Even Tramadol, cannabis, whisky and Kratom had lost whatever effectiveness they'd had.

Insomnia
suffered heart palpitations and had to reduce back down to 200mg but with no success My neurologist suggests going back on to pramepaxole after I stopped taking it a year ago and going on to a low dose and gradually reducing the Pregabalin I don’t have much choice but I’m reluctant to go back on to

Augmentation and Pramipexole
Hello im quite new to the site and was hoping i could get some information on augmentation with
pramipexole
and how long it lasts and when it can start. Looking at some of the posts here im probably at the lower end of the scale on severity.

Pramipexole reduction
So I finally got to speak to a doc about my augmentation I asked about gabapentin and he agreed that it would probably help however he told me that the “ vast amount of nasty side effects would probably outweigh the good “ Thoughts please

Phantom cramp in toes.
I take
Pramipexole
.26 mg for 9 nights and 3 nights without. Over the last 3 weeks I get this sensation of all my toes being cramped but according to my wife the toes show no physical sign of cramp. None at all. Anyone else in the RLS world out there have this?

RLS and vitamin B1
My GP doctor is sending me to a neurologist, because the
pramipexole
I have been taking for RLS isn’t working anymore at a low-dose. I have heard that vitamin B1 is helpful for RLS. Does anybody know if this is true?

Coke helps - very strange
I take
Pramipexole
and it totally works. But, yesterday, I learned something new. I have never, never had caffeine any time after noon because it makes me jumpy and I don't sleep. (I don't sleep well anyway, so the caffeine meant I didn't sleep at all).

Miracle healing? Spontaneous cure? Menopause and RLS
I suffered tremendously from RLS for ten years and could only survive with
pramipexole
1.05 mg prolong, a drug that is not approved for RLS in this dose in my country and basically not approved as prolong for RLS at all. Only special doctors were allowed to prescribe it to me as an off-label use.

End of my tether with RLS
It was suggested that I tried the Rotigotine patch, which apparently had less problems with augmentation, and wean off the Oxycodone and
Pramipexole
.

What I have learned from 1 year with Early Onset PD - "Glass Half Full"
Luckily my religious beliefs kick in and remind me that I know I have to do my part but that it is up to Him to decide and hopefully support me. (4)Treatment Here is a summary of the key facts of the treatment of the PD for the first year: •Medication – The year started – from diagnosis with Sifrol (

Can't find my posts and replies
I have had such fantastic advice about RLS and
Pramipexole
but foolishly thought I would be able to find my posts. I didn't realize one has to save them. I need them to show my doctor. In particular replies from Joolseg and Minerva. Is there a way to find them please?

1mg Neupro and augmentation? Advice needed...
Take patch every day at 9am and end up taking .25
pramipexole
late at night, which works well after 2 hours later. Do I move up to the 2mg patch? Any thoughts are welcome. Jim

how do i get off pramipexole?
I am taking 6mg of
pramipexole
per day. It is not working as well as it used to. My doctor is suggesting a slow release pad of some sort but he says I must get of at least 3mg of
pramipexole
before I try the patch. This doesn't sound very feasible to me. Any thoughts please

Thankful for this forum
Unfortunately, I wasn't very educated about RLS at that point and neither was my doctor, because he prescribed me
Pramipexole
. I know now that was a big mistake, but thankfully it was a .25mg dose, and I never went higher than that.
