Warfarin and Pradaxa have not fazed her. I was able to ask about adrenaline-free injections to prevent heart arrhythmia. She said that there wasn't enough adrenaline in the HALF sized amount used. It would take THREE to have an effect.

Should I ask my cardiologist to take me off Pradaxa so I can get the shot?

After taking Pradaxa (dabigatran) for a couple of months, I've just done the bowel scan test that routinely arrives through my letterbox every couple of years.

Still on Pradaxa, 2x50 Labetalol beta blocker and 2x80 Diovan for hypertension. Had yesterday 2 beer for dinner..... not sure it impacted. Next follow up with cardiologist in 1 week. Lets see what he says.

I'm on Pradaxa, Lorstat, Aratac, Perindo and Bispro. The wife says my snoring has stopped and I sleep calmly now. Has anyone found this to be the case?

Take Levothyroxine, Pradaxa, Bisoprolol, Amlodipine and a Statin. Does anybody else just want to hide under the covers all day. D

The less the better. 3) Is anyone here with long-term experience with Pradaxa? I know that Pradaxa was introduced only a few years ago but maybe someone takes it for a few years now? If you could share your experiences I'd be really glad.

He assured me that it will normalize but will takeep up to 6 months...I am on a Blood Thinner also Pradaxa or known as Dabagatron. Hair loss is not a side effect. What did help was I went ant got a really good haircut and kept it trimmed regularly. I hope this may help.

I have had my blood thinning medication changed to Dabigatran, and I am awaiting a catheter ablation. Has anyone suffered side effects and can I drink alcohol while taking it?

I have been taking 75mg Pradaxa twice a day since I was diagnosed with A Fib 2 years ago and at my yearly check up with my EP he said I should be on 150mg instead. He said I should have been on 150 and that 75 was not enough.

Could someone tell me what is the difference between Rivaroxaban and Pradaxa and there is another one, beginning with X ...( sorry, can't recall the name)....are they the same, under different trade names?

He switched to Pradaxa in hopes to help w/ the metal side effect. He's still experiencing the bouts of increased heart rate and the doctors seem to just brush it off. He's healthy and was fit prior to the clotting with a resting heart rate of around 60.

One thing that I noticed was a lot of medical adverts, But one came on regarding anyone on Pradaxa that has had side effects and this law firm was willing to do a no win no fee? It claimed 100's won already? Or is it just the way the US law works?

Pradaxa 2x a day. Lipitor too. I actually feel a lot better and I think the worst is behind me. However... Question: It's been weeks since the TEE. My esophagus still hurts when I eat or drink. I feel full after eating small amounts but I'm not losing weight. In fact, I feel a bit bloated.

Now I have to start with evtl Pradaxa 75 mg twice a day, but i am scared about the concequensis and My question is if there is an alternative less dengenerose medicine for it ??? I am from Croatia, Zagreb.

I am currently on Pradaxa and keep hoping my doctor is wrong when he says I will be on blood thinners for life. Also, I was wondering if exercise or diet change had helped anyone suffering with APS. I love going to the gym but the chronic DVT does make it tougher. Thanks, Heidi

Hi, I have been diagnosed with Parox AF for about 6 months now, and I'm taking Pradaxa. It suits me very well too, no problems. Does anyone know if I should have a kidney blood test every 6 months , Ive not been offered one, but I paid private and the specialist says I should have them?

Or is it the Pradaxa I'm using taking care of that? Thankyou.
