Asthma but no wheeze
I wasn't given salbutamol nebs as I'd already had well over 10 puffs but was given oxygen, saline nebs, IV hydrocortisone and IV
piriton
(I think that's what it was).

My doc changed my meds, changed antihistamines to Telfast and
Piriton
, 4 puffs daily Fluticasone 250mcg. I improved a little but slowly got worse and had Oxis Turbohaler added.

out of control hayfever
I currently use desloratidine,
piriton
, opticrom and saline nose spray specifically for hayfever, but despite these meds as well as my usual asthma meds things are not controlled.

Is anyone else allergic to wine?
So far (touch wood it has gone away with
piriton
and I have not had to reosrt to the epipen). I think it may irritate my asthma slightly as the smoking ban seems to have had only a minor effect. Having looked through old threads other people seem to be allergic to the sulphites.

Wasp allergy
Also had two
piriton
tablets 4 hours apart. At the time wasn't convinced the asthma and the sting were linked as it didn't come on that quickly, and thought it might have been the weather. However, I still have the rash which is itchy and if anything now getting worse.

Is rape seed still a problem??
Taking no chances giving
Piriton
and Tilade 4 times a day on top of usual meds, he has additional pred with him just in case, peak flows to be taken twice daily and an Asthma plan. I am sure he will be abosolutely fine but feel pretty useless as he is so far away.

Taking medication on a flight warning
Regardless of whatever changes you hear about my 10yr old daughter fell foul of airport security at Gatwick last week after my mum tried to take her large bottle of
piriton
on the plane as she has a nut allergy.

2. if you're taking piriteeze 1 in the mornng (like me, i did have loraditdine but made me ill) you can also take 1
piriton
in the evening, which makes you drowsy so a bonus.

Confused, concerned and why am I different
The more I read into coeliac disease and the gluten free diet the more concerned I become, I am twice diagnosed, react differently to the majority and take up to 6
piriton
a day to stop getting "food-exercise induced allergic reactions.
