Pembrolizumab

I have been taking Ibrutinib for almost 5 weeks Pembrolizumab for 2 via IV. My doctor said if I end up in hospital it’s most not working. Do anyone have a suggested alternative? I have the ritchers syndrome mutation Thanks

My sister has stage 4 NSCLC and has stopped pembrolizumab due to side effects and disease progression, and is now on home oxygen. Starting carboplatin and pemetrexate next week. Any advice for handling the chemotherapy, side effects etc? She is in the UK. Thank you for any help you can give.

The study, published in Cell Reports Medicine, focuses on a new treatment combining pembrolizumab with standard chemotherapy to treat small cell bladder cancer and small cell/neuroendocrine prostate cancer. Small cell carcinomas are aggressive and have a low survival rate.

How did being on affect your quality of life? If you have had adjuvant treatment after surgery, what was your experience? Would you have preferred to have treatment before surgery?

So I am still here, thanks to the Marsden, 4 cycles - now just on immunotherapy - have just read about durvalumab which I have never heard of, I', on the usual pembrolizumab - has anyone had experience or can tell me the difference between the two please?

The Pembrolizumab isn't too bad, but makes me feel a bit wiped out for a few days, no energy etc. The result is that I'm afraid to go far from home, or my hospital, in case something happens to make me feel unwell.

. - Pembrolizumab. I'm due my 2nd treatment tomorrow. For someone who avoids taking anything stronger than paracetamol, it's all a bit scary. I haven't met anyone with lung cancer yet, and other people I know with cancer are on radio / chemo treatments. How have others found immunotherapy.

At the oncology appointment yesterday my husband was given what I believe is an amazing opportunity, he has the option of starting standard care ( immunotherapy pembrolizumab ) or participating in clinical trials where they will be also adding a second drug for a two pronged approach.

His treatment plan was to have Cisplatin and Pemetrexed (chemotherapy) and Pembrolizumab (Immunotherapy). He tolerated a number of cycles but then got a couple of infections at once and was very poorly.

I will be having paclitaxel, carboplatin, every 3 weeks for 4 rounds & pembrolizumab at the same time, then every 6 weeks for 2 years. Just wondered if anyone has had similar and how they got on? In August the hospital changed my inhalers to Anoro + Easyhaler.

Having said that they also trialed solid tumour treatments eg Pembrolizumab in patients with MBC with HTMB, https://pubmed.ncbi.nim.nih.gov/33844595/ Genomics test called guardant360 in the US? ( blood or tissue) Not universal benefit but for advanced, Metatastic cancers.

Greetings, has anyone got experience of taking Pembrolizumab while also having CLL. I have secondary lung cancer (non small cell) as a matatsisation of Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

I was diagnosed with adenicarcinoma Stage 4, T1B, N3, M1B in January 2023 and offered Pembrolizumab (Keytruda) having a PD-LI expression of 50%. I have had 4 6-weekly cycles so far , with a CT scan after the first 2 sessions and I am due to have another in a couple of weeks - before I have cycle 5.
