Anyone taking Anagrelide w/ ET+CALR?
My platelets are in the millions so we are giving
Pegasys
another try but I'm dealing with some unpleasant side effects (already) and it's only been two weeks (dizziness, headaches, brain fog, fatigue, shortness of breath, irritability).

Low Platelets Help
I’m taking 105mcg of
Pegasys
with 1500 mgs of Hydrea per week for PV. I’m concerned that my platelets are falling lower every month. I just dropped to Under 100. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks

Coping in the heat
Hi, i have finally got a diagnosis of ET and have started on
pegasys
, fourth injection this week. It has been warm here the last couple of days and I have found work to be extremely exhausting. Does anyone else suffer in the heat? I work in a lab so need to wear a labcoat.

I am especially interested in a Specialist who has worked with both

Timing of side effects of Pegasys
Has anyone had to request a lower dose or experience of titrating backwards on
pegasys
? I am keen to stay on
Pegasys
(Besremi is not yet approved in Canada) and welcome suggestions. Cheers Cheryl

Random question to you all….I have ET, I’m on
Pegasys
and have been for a few years, I also take aspirin. This year I’ve been bitten a lot (I have always been a tasty meal for little bugs!) and whilst I try not to scratch the bites we all know that sometimes it’s not possible.

Pegasys not working
Four months in, and
Pegasys
is not working. I started low and slow 4 months ago and worked up to my current 90 mcg/week without any side effects.

He can't say how lng I have to stay on
Pegasys

Pegasys side effects
Week 6 on
Pegasys
I caught a mild case of Covid & all my
Pegasys
side effects stopped immediately! Telephone consult with consultant due to Covid & dose increased from 45mg to 90mg as my blood results had improved slightly but not vastly.

Pegasys issues
Hi everyone previously I had told you that I was having Sjogrens symptoms while on
Pegasys
. I stopped it and saw a rheumatologist. She was very dismissive.

Besremi, Pegasys and Jakafi adverse event question?
The title of the slide is "Besremi is far safer than
Pegasys
and Jakafi". It showed that Jakafi and
Pegasys
seem to have way more serious adverse events than Besremi? The source of data suggests it was from FAERs, which seems to be the FDA's data base but I can't verify the numbers.

Does hair loss stop or improve if changing from hydroxycarbemide to Pegasus?
I’m a fit and healthy 70 year old and wondered if I should try
pegasys
to stop this hair loss. I know I’m fortunate at the moment to only have hair loss but I’d love not to have that. What are your thoughts please. Thanks Irene

Pegasys Reaction?
I took my first dose of 45mcgs of
Pegasys
Sunday evening with no signs of any side effects. Woke up the next day (yesterday) and about 9am I started getting stomach cramps. They continued to get worse and by noon I was in bed with a heating pad on my stomach.

Pegasys Injection Help
Anyone use insulin needles to inject
Pegasys
? It appears to be exactly the same other than it says "units" where my prescription calls out "mls". However they both measure out the same. .25ml = 25units Thanks!

Pegasys and periods and trouble sleeping
Of the ladies on here who are on
Pegasys
and are of child bearing age, do any of you find you get a night of disturbed sleep each month, just before your period starts? I’ve been charting it and it’s literally every month, on a Tuesday for me. I take my peg on a Sunday.

There is little information about this disease in my country and hematologists follow general protocols not any especial experiences

Pegasys Single Use Vials?
I am taking 45mcgs weekly and do they expect me to throw away the balance of peg left after each injection? That's 135mcgs I would be throwing away. I am paying almost $200 per 180mcg vial. I am going to use up my entire vial. I see no reason to throw it out as long as it is kept refrigerated and new
