Paclitaxel Acute Pain Syndrome
Hi everyone. I began Taxol Friday. I was not at all apprehensive since I had taken the drug 11 years ago. I thought I knew what to expect. I left the clinic on a steroid high. No pain. Very little fatigue. I even had dinner guests. But the clock struck 10 p.m. and pain began building. By 3 a.m. it was

Treatment Options at 2nd recurrence.
In addition, there's also the question of sequencing, with one oncologist strongly recommending going with the standard of care they know works, ie avastin +
paclitaxel
, and seeing where I am with the trial after the treatment in option 1.

Carboplatin hypersensitivity
They decided to give me the same regime of carboplatin and
paclitaxel
. So no probs for my prev 6 cycles in 2020 or my 1st cycle of this one 3 weeks ago. I am having my op after my 3rd cyle as long as the tumour in my abdomin and bowel shrink .

Urethral Stricture new treatment - Optilume
The balloon is coated with
Paclitaxel
, so I do not know if that will interfere with prostate cancer treatments or not. It has not really been tried with RT induced urethral stricture though.

Different chemo side effects after surgery
I was diagnosed in March and had 3 cycles of carboplatin/
paclitaxel
chemo every 3 weeks. I had surgery in June - a hysterectomy and removal of my omentum and cancer cells from my liver and rectum. 18 days ago I had a 4th carbo/pac with 2 further cycles to go before the end of current treatment.

The chemotherapy drugs are carboplatin and
paclitaxel
. You have them as a drip into a vein once every 3 weeks. You have up to 6 cycles of treatment [Gloss/Cycles of treatment]. You have bevacizumab as a drip into a vein. You have this once every 3 weeks for up to a year.

No hope
Paclitaxel
is the full name. We all know what the outcome of this disease could be but just a little hope that we won't leave our beloved family just yet could help. Now all that has gone.

Could you give me some idea of what I will go through please?
Paclitaxel
sometimes called Taxol. I am very old but as she said I am active so we can try this. I have heard so many frightening reports of chemo that I am living in fear of feeling so ill. Do any of you dear friends have any experience of this treatment please?

Hello, I'm new to this forum. Does anyone have experience of EP0057? With or without olaparib?
It was carboplatin sensitive, and I've now had two rounds of carboplatin (first with
paclitaxel
and then with doxorubicin), interspersed with bevacizumab, then olaparib. Unfortunately, it's back again.
