Hiatus Hernia
Diagnosed with total heart block on the Sunday,
pacemaker
on the Tuesday. And plenty more of the same. I am now booked for manometry and PH tests with a view to hernia repair. Reflux is less of an issue now because I eat several hours before going to bed and don't exert myself physically.

Does anyone taking bisoprolol (1.25mg) get a dry mouth? (LV impairment. Pacemaker. Heart failure ) It's especially bad at night.
Tried 2.5mg bisoprolol but dry mouth so bad I asked to drop to 1.25mg. Dry mouth still bad but I don't know anyone who gets this. Suggestions?

Pacemaker pain
Hi, my adult daughter is having problems with the positioning of her
pacemaker
. When it was replaced a year ago, it was embedded in a muscle in her shoulder area. She is in constant pain. Does anyone else have experience of this sort of issue?

If it’s not one thing it’s another 🙄
If having
pacemaker
complications wasn’t enough along with pericarditis , an effusion I now have costochondritis Last few weeks I’ve had a bit of a cold , nothing more until Monday when I started with such a painful sore throat and mouth which meant I couldn’t take my medication as I was really struggling

Can’t keep up with the lame and lazy group
I have heart failure following a
pacemaker
being fitted. My heart rate at the time was 30BPM. Resting and I had blacked out.

Flu vaccine
I’ve had a request from my GP surgery to have the flu vaccine as I’m apparently now in the ‘Under 65 at risk group ‘, not sure whether it’s because of having a
pacemaker
or down to the heart infection I had last December , I’m not against vaccines like this but just having a cold affects me more since

A bit lost and looking for help
Finally fitted a
pacemaker
for sick sinus syndrome. Complained to dr about exhaustion and instructed to increase levo to 75. This sent me into a Tachycardia attack and I was rushed into hospital yet again where dr said to reduce the dose immediatley.

Good news for me
Plus happiness number 2 they agree with me that my
pacemaker
needs moving so I’ve been put on the waiting list. I’m one happy person. I wish everyone reading this some of my happiness and good luck to everyone. Take care.

Heart Failure and barriers imposed by GPs when prescribing medication
For someone that has just had a
pacemaker
fitted, been diagnosed with heart heart and waiting a further operation, all in the space of 2 months, this is hugely detrimental to his health. Can anyone suggest a way forward, or better still anyone experienced this?
