Can’t keep up with the lame and lazy group
I have heart failure following a
pacemaker
being fitted. My heart rate at the time was 30BPM. Resting and I had blacked out.

Flu vaccine
I’ve had a request from my GP surgery to have the flu vaccine as I’m apparently now in the ‘Under 65 at risk group ‘, not sure whether it’s because of having a
pacemaker
or down to the heart infection I had last December , I’m not against vaccines like this but just having a cold affects me more since

Finally fitted a
pacemaker
for sick sinus syndrome. Complained to dr about exhaustion and instructed to increase levo to 75. This sent me into a Tachycardia attack and I was rushed into hospital yet again where dr said to reduce the dose immediatley.

Good news for me
Plus happiness number 2 they agree with me that my
pacemaker
needs moving so I’ve been put on the waiting list. I’m one happy person. I wish everyone reading this some of my happiness and good luck to everyone. Take care.

Heart Failure and barriers imposed by GPs when prescribing medication
For someone that has just had a
pacemaker
fitted, been diagnosed with heart heart and waiting a further operation, all in the space of 2 months, this is hugely detrimental to his health. Can anyone suggest a way forward, or better still anyone experienced this?

Decision 100% made... (I think !!) 🙃
I've made the decision of
pacemaker
then AVnode ablation if needed. Big decision I know but I honestly can not stand feeling ill everyday... I've had 7 bloody years of it and tried everything and 4th ablation isn't on the cards..

Pacemaker pain/discomfort
Can anyone else relate to having problems with actual
pacemaker
box. Mine was fitted in April 2020 and moved during OHS in Aug 2020. It has never been comfortable and grinds against bone during certain movements (no I am not a twiddler) but this past couple of days it is very painful to touch.

My Oligometastatic Journey Continues…
(Had a
pacemaker
installed in 2019 - had some electrical issues possibly due to the radiation…) In January of 2020, we decided to give an ADT “holiday” a try. My PSA had been undetectable at this point for 2-years. I’d been on hormone therapy for almost 5-years and needed a break.

Medtronic MyCareLink flashing green, amber and blue lights.
Hi everyone, Does anyone else have a Medtronic MyCareLink
pacemaker
monitor which drives them mad? I got my monitor through the post after my
pacemaker
battery was replaced last year with just a booklet to give information. They must have thought I was bright enough to work it all out!

Oxygen Levels -joint pain
My oxygen levels were reasonable in the 90,s but my pulse rate at times were as low as 35 fluctuating to 55.My doctor advised a 24 hour heart monitor and a couple of weeks later rushed into hospital and a
pacemaker
fitted . My breathing has improved and I now walk 200 metres without stopping..

Flashback to being blue lighted to hospital
The experience in hospital was very traumatic , I had three emergency admissions to coronary care in December ,after having a
pacemaker
that caused pericarditis , I spent almost three weeks in all on CCU . I try not to think about what happened but it’s all still so clear in my mind .

Autonomic Dysfunction - cardiac symptoms. Anyone else?
He also told me that a
pacemaker
would not help control my symptoms but there are numerous things that I have read which say otherwise? I was just wondering if anyone else has AD or been told they might have AD and what are your experiences or thoughts?

Travelling abroad/best portable compressor in your opinion please
In Jan this year I contracted COVID which has made my condition worse with RV Heart failure (
pacemaker
upgraded) and type II respiratory failure for which I’m on 2 litres at rest, 3 mobilising and 4 at night through my NIV.
