HF ongoing issues
I had a Cpex test in Feb and last week received the outcome which says my
pacemaker
shows no rate response, I have currently been attending cardio rehab and now I'm wondering if I should be exercising and putting exertion on my heart when there is a issue with my
pacemaker
?

Two weeks ago I had a
Pacemaker

Pacemaker Protection
Pacemaker
fitted two weeks ago, and as an active sailor feel I need some protection, looking at Paceguard, and Vitabeat USA both are protection in a shirt pocket, and Diaprox Spain, which is different and worn over it. all a bit expensive. Any one had any experience of these or others?

Pacemaker versus not driving?
So the question is, is my understanding correct, is deciding not to have the
pacemaker
, and not driving, a real option for me, or do I need the
pacemaker
whether driving or not?

refused an MRI
However, NHS trust fund are refusing the MRI (even though his
pacemaker
is compatible) because he did not have his
pacemaker
fitted at this hospital or in Nottingham. Can anyone please explain to me why they are refusing the MRI?

Just when I thought all was well . . .
Eight months post
pacemaker
and I thought all was well since I’ve had no AF since I had it fitted back in June 2023. I had my
pacemaker
check yesterday at the pacing clinic and all was well except I am now having Ectopics but that’s no big deal , then late last nigh I didn’t feel quite right.

pulse of 62 and feeling shaky
I’ve had a
pacemaker
since 2020, the last couple of weeks I’ve had a cold , apart from that I’ve been ok . I’ve noticed that my pulse has dropped to around 60/62 and ive felt fluttery and shaky . My
pacemaker
is set to bring my heart rate up should it drop below 60.

Referral to Action heart cardiac rehab at local hospital, what can I expect ?
I had a
pacemaker
just over three years ago, serious complications a few days after the procedure caused pericarditis and a pericardial effusion , I had a long recovery and it’s been quite a tough journey .

Pacemaker surgery
Hello everyone I am likely to be having a
pacemaker
fitting soon and the idea of the surgery is really freaking me out. I think it's because it's done under local anaesthetic and so I'll see them doing it. For people that have had the surgery, how was it and how did you feel afterwards?

moving pacemaker
August 2023 I had a
pacemaker
fitted after a heart attack. September the
pacemaker
moved. I called the hospital and was told if I am not in pain everything is okay. The
pacemaker
has since moved again and is pressing on my skin leaving a bruise.

Afib and Atrial tachycardia ...
Hi all, Long story short, I've had arrhythmia for years, Afib and SVT. 4 ablations later, last year they fitted me with a dual chamber
pacemaker
and had an AV Node ablation.
