Pacemaker response

Hi, Since my pace and ablate I have encountered numerous health issues and now in heart failure with an ejection factor of 40 under the heart failure team who have prescribed meds.

Recently went for a Cpex test and been informed that my pacemaker shows little/no rate response.

Anyone know what this actually means and what effect it would have?

I get breathless, very tired, weak, very cold, no energy and difficulty just carrying out everyday tasks.

Hi,

I'm sorry that no-one has replied to your questions yet. I had an ICD fitted and that hasn't given me any problems that I'm aware of. I have an EF of 35 but I have no problems with my daily 4 mile walks including vigorous uphill.

If your budget allows it I very much recommend you making an appointment ASAP with a private consultant. I see mine at a Spires Hospital roughly twice a year and it saves A LOT of anxiety having an expert who can see me almost immediately if I need it. mine costs £150 but I think it can often be £200 elsewhere. For me, it is worth every penny,

I'm really sorry I can't help more than this, and I hope your condition improves over time.
