First reoccurrence .
Hello lovely ladies, After 9 glorious months In remission my CNS confirmed by phone that a scan has revealed my cancer is ‘ active again’. I have an appointment with the oncologist on Tuesday but she also said it may not mean ‘chemo’. So, until we know what the plan is I’ve decided not to tell anyone

Still getting symptoms after 6 infusions of Chemo; abdominal pain and groin pain swollen stoma, anyone possibly shed some light on this?
Hello ladies, I hope many of you managed to enjoy a lovely Christmas. Happy New Year to you all. I hope 2020 is a kind year. During chemo I had the usual shooting pains, abdominal pains etc that came and went - pains that became quite normal but that would only last a day or so and intermittently

Here we go again - again!!
Hello to all - I’ve not been very active on the forum over the last few months (although I read posts to see how everyone is from time to time). I finished 18 weeks of taxol at the start of October with a rising CA125. The scan I had straight after showed some progression in my primary tumour and a

exam without costly OCT scan?
I am traveling in NZ and am from the US. I need an injection but am not covered on insurance here Has anyone ever asked for a visual check alone without the expense of an OCT scan? I had spoken in the past to my regular specialist sinc I had been in Mexico where the service was not available. My Dr.

Back from London, tired, but hopeful
Dear All, When to the London Clinic yesterday, saw RK, what a difference from the last consultation in London. She started off with the fact that there are still lots of possibilities and treatments out there, which lifted my spirits immediately. Very briefly, she wants me to first do molecular testing

Unbearably itchy arm from PICC. PICC taken out. Getting a Port put in. One more carbo/taxol then Avastin for 1y. Good choice to get port?
Hi ladies. I’ve had a bit of trouble getting cannulated for my treatments. First treatment took 5 attempts to cannulate. Other infusions only took one go but I was advised to get a PICC due to my small veins. I only had the PICC in for four days before I had to get it taken out again, it was unbearably

Avastin mandated as first drug to try by my insurance-caused silicone floater
I HAVE to try Avastin first due to my insurance mandating a "proven fail"...for each eye. I have to try 3 injections. The first one for my right eye gave my a permanent silicone floater the shape of a comet directly in my line of sight. I am beside myself and furious when I was told it was permanent

Excruciating pain immediately after eylea injections - no betadyne
Nearly a year of Avastin injections and two years of Eylea injections, no betadyne being used the last two years because I could not tolerate. Now (the last 4 inections) I have excruciating eye pain after the injection and last time a few minutes of no vision at all in the eye. I take Tylenol immediately
