So despite everything I'm still in hospital. My peak flows have been better for around 18 hours although I'm more wheezy today than I was yesterday. They are letting me trial inhalers today in the hope my peak flows don't drop again. My worry is ive been on prednisolone for 4 weeks already and I don't

X-Ray was normal, I'm not responding to any medications, and symptoms only getting worse
He gave me several medications, and had me do
nebulizer
treatments every six hours for about a week which was always very effective for my asthma. At this appointment he also checked my blood oxygen percentage, which was slightly low(I want to say 95 but I can't remember).

The drugs
For some time my COPD had been getting much worse. I had sudden episodes where I was totally helpless and was gasping desperately for a breath of air. This could happen up to 5 or 6 times a day. CLL Treatment - Give your body a rest?
So Friends - an interesting question for long term CLLers. As this form of Cancer will never be the principle cause of our demise - should we consider putting the CLL Treatment Drugs to one side, to deal with the side effects. My CLL journey started when I was diagnosed in 2001 and treated at various

At hospital they thought maybe I should have a

Portable Nebuliser
Hi, I've had an Omron U22 Microair since last spring. It was great until November when it stopped working (so helpful!) Amazon kindly replaced it instantly and it's been working perfectly until today - electrode issue I suspect. I'm not sure if they'll replace it again but, before I try and find out

New to here and needing help/support please
Hi. I've had asthma since being a child but has always been fairly well controlled with only occasional flair, but since beginning of Jan it has been a difficult time. Initially I was given antibiotics for chest infection and 30 steroids for 5 days, when these finished 2 days layer I went back as still

I'm currently in hospital. I'm having nebs but they havnt done anything else. I'm still very wheezy. My peak flow is down to 50% and I'm getting very scared. What should be happening now?

Has anyone bought or got a NIOX VERO® for assessment and management of airway inflammation for asthma?
Hi. My asthma is still not great. I'm taking a nebuliser treatment at home now once a day along with steroids still. I just found this link, It's USA based but it has a UK link to it. The website looks very thorough, with case studies, publications, resources and so much info about what they are about
