Nebivolol

Hi I was wondering if anyone takes nebivolol who are asthmatic? Does it affect your airways? I know nebivolol is one of the better beta blockers for asthmatics.

For you I would like some help with the feeling of depression from b blockers I was taking bisoprolol 2.5 mg in the morning for about a year and I stopped it due to insomnia and depressed mood I started after nebivolol I am in it now for seven months sleep improved but the feeling of depression improved

It was decided to double my Nebivolol and 3 more infusions in the hope it reduces? I was in for another night which upset The Wife. The third infusion seem to do the trick as it dropped into the low 100’s with the odd 97bpm. But with it being me my o2 dropped down to 89% when I was asleep.

Hi I finally got my GP to advise on my switch from Bisop to Nebivolol. I wanted to try it because my feet and legs are struggling so much. My toes are numb, yet sting and feel over-sensitive at the same time and burn in bed.

I have been prescribed nebivolol for heart pulpatations and I'm really scared to take my first dose, I am going to start on half a tablet of a 2.5 dose, I have asthma so it's a trial to see how I will be, can anyone reassure me please ? Absolutely petrified and it's making my pulpatations worse.

Nebivolol / Bisoprolol Fumarate. I’ve been on 5mg Bisoprolol Fumarate during the last 5 years or so. I started experiencing weak erections.

Got home at around 10am and slept for three hours and thirty minutes after I woke I went back into AF which lasted (3.5 hours) Called 111 later and spoke to the out of hours doctor about changing my medication back to nebivolol safely but got nowhere.

Just of Bisoprolol and starting Nebivolol/Nebilet. Going of Bisoprolol was dreadful and last night tight chest accompanied with vomiting after taking Nebilet..On Attacand and cholesterol tablets as well. I have never taken tablets much through my life. Thank you for listening.

My meds have been Eliquis, aspirin, Amioderone and Nebivolol. 6 years on Amioderone and 6 months on Nebivolol. I recently became severely short of breath.

Stubborn AF

Hi Guys I check my BP and pulse two weeks ago I was in AFIB, ( Aflutter diagnosed) contacted GP as meds had been changed from beta blocker to Calcium blocker, change back to Nebivolol , now I have a PR of 130 but it goes back to normal if im active then back to 130vvwhen I rest, I'm disabled so exercise

Hi people has any one been on Nebivolol for Atrial Flutter.

Nebivolol and Losartan are the drugs given to me by Heart consultant which I have been fine on. The fall was nothing to do With my AFib

However I'm thinking that if I was to take half a nebivolol tab in the morning and half at night it may help ease the low BP. Anyone else had this problem? Ogilvie

I also suffered from frequent blackouts due to very low blood pressure, so I stopped the Nebivolol. I also stopped the Pepsolan since I don't have any problem with the stomach.

I was thinking of asking for Nebivolol. But what do you all think?

I wanted to switch to Nebivolol but he said they are all the same so if Bisoprolol doesn't suit none of them will. So he wants to try a calcium channel blocker. I thought they were a blood pressure pill. Will they keep my rate down? It's in the high 80's or 90's on 2.5mg Bisop.

I asked to switch to Nebivolol because I've heard people here saying they had less side effects with it. He seemed reluctant but said I could if I wanted. But he suggested I come off the Bisop first and see how I felt with nothing. So that's what I'm doing.

I take 2.5mg of Nebivolol daily.
