Hello.

I am 69 diagnosed about 5 months ago with cardiomyopathy along with high blood pressure.

On a merry go round of tablets.

Just of Bisoprolol and starting Nebivolol/Nebilet.

Going of Bisoprolol was dreadful and last night tight chest accompanied with vomiting after taking Nebilet..On Attacand and cholesterol tablets as well.

I have never taken tablets much through my life.

I really feel for you I know how you feel with having to withdraw from bisoprolol. I hope Nebilet will soon get into your system and you fell better soon.

Please go back and talk to your doctor if these symptoms do not settle in a few days as many of these drugs can have serious affects. You are taking 3 types of meds to treat BP and fast heart rate and to dilate your blood vessels.

Where do you live and who prescribed for you - GP or Cardiologist/EP? Were Lifestyle factors discussed?

I live in Australia.

I am under a cardiologist, albeit l have just changed.

Life style changes have not been discussed.

Not a drinker or smoker and slim.

Will be seeing him in a couple of weeks ,should l feel as awful as last night will be in contact tomorrow. Thanks.

Hope you get some relief. Sometimes you have to be insistent, polite but persistent if meds don’t work for you. Best wishes.
