Questions about assembling a care team
What a long week and a half this has been. My husband was diagnosed something like 14 days ago and admitted last Friday for bleeding from a kidney stone procedure. He's been in and out of critical ever since. Yesterday, he took his first walk and ate semi solid food (whipped sweet potatoes and eggs).

Today's "Report Card" 2 mos. into Zytiga/Pred added to Lupron
My husband and I saw Dr. Matthew Smith at Mass General today. Everyone's satisfied with the trend: the 1.8 PSA today dropped down from 4.08 on 2/28/19. This is nine weeks after Zytiga/Prednisone was added to Lupron on 2/9/2019. I recently added Alkaline Phostaphase data to the signature below. Here's

Adding Casodex (Bicalutamide) a good idea ?
I’d like to ask this community about the wisdom of adding Casodex to standard ADT. Background: Dx Feb 2018, PSA 168; multiple mets to bones. Firmagon monthly Feb - Nov switched to 3 monthly Dipherelin in Nov. 6 rounds of Docetaxel Apr - Jul. PSA nadir 0.4 in Aug. rose slightly to 0.64 by Mar 2019

My Story
It all started in October 2017 with a regular visit to my PCP for prescription refills. Once the check up was completed and I was leaving he called out to me and said "Hey, you're due for your annual blood work" sure I got some time and they drew the blood. 12 hours later I get the results online. Normal

LU 177 now or later?
I had a prostectomy by robotic surgery 7 years ago. It was Gleason 9 and had a little outside the capsule, but my surgeon thought he got it all, so sent me home to have PSA'a 4 x per year. The highest my PSA had been was 8.8 before surgery. In 2018, my PSA started to climb to about 0.6, so I was sent

Successful PSMA Lu177 treatment of hormone-sensitive PCa
tango65 reported that he had his lymph node mets treated with Lu177 in Munich. They were gone after one cycle of Lu177: https://healthunlocked.com/advanced-prostate-cancer/posts/138579678/lutetium-177-treatment-options?responses=138638930 So I thought I would also get my eight lymph node mets treated

lupron or casodex
my husband was given the choice of 6 months of lupron, or 2 years of casodex. along with radiation to prostate bed + nodes. (cleveland clinic) if you were offered this choice, which one did you choose & why? any regrets?

Best ADT for CVD?
My husband is going to have ADT + Zytiga +radiation (prostate +lymph nodes pelvis + metastasis) in an aggressive approach to oligometastatic cancer (T3b, N1 M1, Gleason 9). He is fit but has atheroscleroses and will need stents. Now for ADT I thought Degarelix would be the best choice regarding CVD.
