Mirapex for depression
My mom is currently taking .250 mg of Mirapex once at night and once in the morning. Taking in the morning because it helps with anxiety to for her. Wanting to go up to .250 at night and keep .125 during the day. She seems to be building tolerance and not helping as much as initially did at the beginning

Just looking for help like most of you.
I have been lurking here and on other sites, hoping to find some path to reduce or eliminate if possible my PLMD. I think I have had it for many years, but was officially diagnosed with it during an in lab sleep study I had recently. They found mild sleep apnea which is now well controlled with CPAP

chronic severe RLS
I'm posting this so that maybe it can save someone's life like it did mine. I've suffered with severe Rls since at least middle school and I'm now 50 yrs old. Mine was so bad that I would punch my legs and arms to make them hurt so bad, so I would feel pain instead of the rls. It started going up into

RLS and caffeine diet Pepsi
I have had RLS for years. My Mom, sister and two of my sons have it also. Most of us take Mirapex at night which works well most of the time but lately I feel like it’s worse and am having trouble sleeping. I had a suspected maybe it was the CF Diet Pepsi even though it was caffeine free so I stopped

Sigh... 😔🥱😒 Hallucinations side effects from meds on top of neck & back pain affecting sleep schedule
This is very frustrating. Before starting any Parkinson meds this year, back pain (spinal stenosis but don't need surgery "do PT", insomnia and frequent urination (was told BPH) were my dad's only health issues. Healthy in every other aspect. Now, 2 months in, he has hallucinations as a side effect

Wondering if dad has RLS instead of PD (or both?). Any RLS indicators here?
Hi new to learning about RLS. My heart goes out to everyone dealing with this.
I'm reading a lot of comments about experiencing Augmentation from Mirapex/Dopamine Agonists or that if dopamine therapy doesn't work on you, you may not have PD. I've been wondering if my dad has RLS or something else

Hallucinations + Delusions as med side effect, are either worse than the other? Will they be permanent if not addressed?
dad started parkinson's meds in late March this year and has hallucinations + delusions as a side effect, reported in May. he started with C/L + Mirapex 2x/day (March) -> 3x a day (April - May). Now he's only on C/L 3x/day, and d/c'd Mirapex for 3 weeks), still having hallucinations. bradykinesia dominant

RLS Question
my story is simple. I’ve had restless leg, moderate to severe for almost 14 years, and I am looking for some more advice? Most of my time is spent on mirapex was increased dosage as you can see in my previous post. That made me have terrible withdrawals. Once my current doctor took me off the Mirapex

Spacing out Mirapex/pramipexole or Lyrica/pregabalin throughout the day
My friend and I were discussing our RLS medications. She mentioned that mirapex was not working for her until she started taking it throughout the day. One with breakfast, one with lunch, one with dinner and one at night. Within a couple of days her RLS was gone. Wondering if this has worked for others

Has anyone tried Seratame?
I have been on Mirapex/Pramipexole for decades. I have reduced my dosage to .5mg for a couple of years and have been able to ignore the temporary (two or three days) augmentations that arise and then subside. Lately, I have been experiencing a really rough augmentation that has lasted for a couple of

Glutamine and RLS Does anyone have any info please?
Hi! Please help if you can. I just finished breast cancer chemo and have now developed peripheral neuropathy despite wearing ice on my hands and feet for two hours during treatment. My RLS was finally pretty under control because I went on Trazadone 50 mg. Still taking. .25 Mirapex and Lunesta. Now

rotary cuff tear and rls
I dislocated my shoulder and it looks like I will have to have surgery. I have been reading about rotary cuff surgery and it could be a long recovery with a lot of pain. I am worried about having rls after the surgery. Im not sure how the orthopedic feels about pain meds. I am now taking oxycodone

my system seems to be working
Im alternating ten day of 0.09 mg
mirapexin
and then 5 days tramadol and it seems to be working really well. No RLS at all and I've even had a couple of glasses of wine. know the
mirapexin
is not ideal but it's working so for now I'm carrying on. I hope I don't augment too soon.

Brain Rewired after Dopamine Agonist-induced Augmentation
Hi, All. There have been a few recent comments by others suggesting that, following their discontinuance of an RLS medication, their RLS symptoms lessened or, in some instances, disappeared. Some comments concerned "patches," and some concerned tablets or capsules. Not all concerned dopamine agonists

RLS - Mirapexin & Gabapentin
I have COPD which is the main condition he sees me for - but he was also the one who prescribed the
Mirapexin
for RLS. I told him about the cycle I was again facing with
Mirapexin
and asked had any alternative therapies been found. He said no. Nothing.
