Why am I afraid to go to the bathroom?
I’ve been dealing with constipation issues for the past year. I can only attribute it to gettin older - never had any problems before that. I won’t go into the details of what I have tried - I’ve taken lots of great hints from videos and forums; a lot of it seems to work - and then it doesn’t.

Baclofen for RLS experiences?
I have been tapering from Mirapexin to pregabalin for over three years. However, my question is not about that. My nightly symptoms include the weird sensation in my legs that no one can accurately describe, and my legs twitch and jump about a lot, which is the symptom that keeps me awake. In a recent

Constipation
It seems like every 2 weeks there are more facets to this problem. I take Miralax every day, Colace every other day - drink constantly - and now I have huge BM feelings and go to the bathroom and feel like I''ve accomplished something - then I look and it is not at all what it felt like - smallish,

No rls after over 50 years
Although I'm not diabetic my sugar levels were always quite high. I decided to eat what diabetics eat and believe it or not NO rls for over a week. Dopamine to Pregabalin transition advice, please
I started taking Mirapexin in 2002. My dose increased over the years, reaching 5 x 0.088 mg tablets four years ago when augmentation set in. Three years ago, my doctor prescribed pregabalin and allowed me to manage my transition from Mirapexin. I have not yet completed that transition. Today, I take

Diverticulitis, hemerrhoids (?), fissure (?), bleeding
Hello. After a pretty unusual bout of diverticulitis diagnosed by a CT scan, I saw my GI doc and he wants to do another colonoscopy. This is my 4th bout in 6 years - not very bothered by it - but the last one, well, I could not get the stool out, and then started pooping orangy slime. After that I went

stomach upset
my husband is 3 and 1/2 years post op. Esophagus and over half of his stomach has been removed. It is helpful reading your experiences. He gets a stomach ache every time he eats. Just recently he has found that he’s not cleaning out enough. He started taking miralax at night to clean out his system and

Cannabis and Restless Leg
Hi all, I was told recently that cannabis, in whichever form you choose, may be helpful in relieving restless leg. Do any of you try this with any success? I had a weed cookie last night, very low dose, and it SEEMED to help, but I had only reduced my Mirapexin, not refrained completely, so I'm not

Miralax directions and time before working???
Hi all! I have IBS-C and I would like to know if anyone has had luck with taking Miralax and also if I take my first dosage today do I continue to take a dosage each of the 1-3 days until maybe it produces a bowel movement? Or do I take a dose and wait 1-3 days before taking another dose? I'm confused

These symptoms improve when I take my 12 Rytary and 4

daily but when I’m in an OFF state these symptoms return. Does anyone have experience of these atypical symptoms?

I saw a consultant in the UK a month or so ago and explained that my transition from Mirapexin to Pregabalin was not going well. At that time, I was taking 150mg Pregabalin and 4 x 0.088 Mirapexin and that at that level i was getting some relief but that any reduction from that in the Mirapexin left

Lexicon of Equivalent Patent and Generic RLS Medications?
Same for
Mirapex
and pramipexole which appear to be the same as "Sifrol." And, while updating my list of RLS medicines within the past month, I was surprised to find that two of the listed medicines (Klonopin and clonazepam) were, in fact, the same.

Brain Rewired after Dopamine Agonist-induced Augmentation
Though I do not recall when I first experienced augmentation, I recall that it was around the same time that generic variations of
Mirapex
became available. In time, the initial dose of pramipexole became less effective, and my RLS discomfort worsened.
