Fibromyalgia: A Primary Care Approach
Three medications have been approved by the FDA for fibromyalgia: duloxetine,
milnacipran
, and pregabalin. Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) such as amitriptyline, serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), and cyclobenzaprine have the strongest evidence for benefit.
Three medications have been approved by the FDA for fibromyalgia: duloxetine,
milnacipran
