Muscle Twitches following increased dose of Levothyroxine
Hi Just wondering if anyone has experienced muscle twitches after a recent increase dose of Levothyroxine? In particular my pulse is faster and I can also feel a pulse like sensation in my thigh mainly after exercise but not always and slight twitches under rib cage. I have just googled it and it says

Should I accept dose reduction?
My TSH dropped from 4.98 on diagnosis to below 1 as soon as I started Levo in 2020. For the past two years it’s been 0.01-0.03. It dropped that low when I went up to 100mcg in 2021. I accepted I was over medicated from advice here ( FT4 24.9, FT3 6.5) and because I was losing weight and I reduced

change of Levo from Accord/Actavis to Vencamil
I posted back in August about 100mcgm Accord/Actavis levothyroxine as I was feeling pretty awful. My Blood results showed that my T4 result was only 32% through range. Normally it would be around 65% through range. I also take 15mcgm Sigma Pharma liothyronine. The result for T3 was 83% through range

8 week bloodtest
Hi all, I've been on a reduced levothyroxine dose of 125mcg for the last 8 weeks and i stopped taking the iron tablets as my stomach was too painful, so for the past 7 weeks i've been using an iron patch. My dr agreed to retest my iron as i didn't want to be wasting my time and money if the patches

Timing of Blood test
Hi all, I had my thyroid levels checked recently after being on my current increased dose of levothyroxine 125mcg for 8 weeks. I was previously on 100mcg, which was my starting dose as I've recently been diagnosed as having hypothyroidism. I read on this forum that I should take my last dose of levothyroxine

My wife( female) is 70yrs old, she has had hypothyroidism for 15/20 yrs, but still battling to get thing’s right, because GP’s don’t have the time. She weighs in the 9 stone range, about 5’3” Could not get on with just Levothyroxine, has been purchasing earfa thyroid privately for a number of years

Hello.I have been offered a COVID and flu vaccination which is brilliant but I am also due my first review of bloods to check Levo dosage at the same sort of time. My vaccinations are on Sept 30th, my 8 week review would be Oct 7th. Will the vaccination schew the results and if so how should I time these

Fasting bloods help
Hey so I have a blood test today at 11.30.I know you're not supposed to eat or take levo before bloods. My issue is my blood pressure tends to drop during blood tests and I feel and can faint. If I take my levo after my test, I still can't eat until 12.30 or more depending on when the test is done and

Advice on recent Bloods please
I would really appreciate your advice on blood results please. I have been taking Levothyroxine for 10 years. When I read ElleMai's post I was tearful, that was me 10 years ago. Once medicated I certainly felt much better but not great. I've been frustrated for years at my low energy levels, crawling

Is anyone still having difficulty getting Wockhardt Levothyroxine?
As I glumly predicted, following allergic reactions to several brands of levothyroxine, my GP has flat out refused to reissue a prescription for Brillpharma liquid levothyroxine. Cost. To get it installed as a regular prescription will require me going back to the hospital allergy department and making
