Central Retinal Vein Occlusion
Is there anyone on the Forum who has CRVO or BRVO (branch retinal vein occlusion). I was diagnosed by Prof.Khamashta 7 years ago, after my first BRVO. I have unfortunately had a second, much worse. The treatment to possibly restore some sight to the affected eye, is with injections. These injections

Macular degeneration
I was told today that I have very early signs of macular degeneration in both eyes. I was diagnosed with WG over 15 years ago and receive 6 monthly infusions of Rituximab. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this please. All replies gratefully received.

Denial
I think I am in a state of denial, and am joined there by some members of my family. I can't believe it can be true. I can't believe that I am going to lose my central vision. I can't believe I'm eventually going to have to stop driving. I am disabled and have Agoraphobia and driving is my only way to

Does anyone know what's going on with my eye?
I have wet macular degeneration in both eyes since i was 25. So far, i've had a few bleeds so i recognise them and know when i'm having one. But since 2 days ago, i can see a dark-ish spot just to one side of my central vision of my left eye everytime my eye is half-closed as well as closed. The spot

Rituximab in Thyroid Associated Orbitopathy (early report)
Very early report on use of rituximab in Thyroid Associated Orbitopathy (also known as Graves' Eye Disease, and various other names). That this approach appears to work is itself of interest. Also, while not wanting to be negative, it might be some time before this approach gets out of Italy and beyond

Does anyone have problems with their eyes? I've had lupus and APS for over 30 years and never had any issues with my eyes till now.
Woke up just before Christmas with a slight blurring in my left eye which didn't go away. Ended up being diagnosed with choroidal neovascular membrane which is linked to wet macular degeneration. Eye specialist thinks this is as a result of lupus but at present my rheumatologist is unsure????
