Next line of treatment: too many options
Option 3: Try and be a part of clinical trial 16U05 (if biopsy shows BRCA mutation) (https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT03012321) which, depending on which arm he is placed in, could mean being treated with only olaparib (

Approved Treatments for Triple Negative MBC Patients
Patients with inherited (“germline”) BRCA mutations may want to speak with their medical teams about taking a PARP inhibitor such as Talazoparib (Talzenna) or Olaparib (
Lynparza
), which are FDA-approved for HER2 negative MBC patients with BRCA mutations.

Hello
The treatments I have tried are Tamoxifen, Anastrozole, Letrozole, and
Lynparza
. Now that I have discontinued treatment, I am feeling better than I have in a long time. I am spending my time volunteering and seeing friends. My mother is my main caretaker and we are incredibly close.

Starting lynparza tomorrow
All set up with anti nausea meds. Does this kick in immediately? So tired of being fatigued after chemo for two years on as n off. Not looking forward st all to more side effects. I feel like I will simply end up lying around afore weeks and not being able to do anything although I handled two rounds

Help needed with NZ petition for funding of Avastin and Lynparza for Ovarian cancer
Not sure about
Lynparza
, but if Olaparib is anything to go by ($10k per month), then it will be very expensive.

FDA-Approved Treatments for HR+, HER2- Premenopausal Patients
If you have a germline BRCA mutation, you may want to speak with your doctor about taking a PARP inhibitor such as Talazoparib (Talzenna) or Olaparib (
Lynparza

Another recurrence
In May 2018 I started
Lynparza
. I had severe side effects of nausea snd fatigue. They halved my dosage and I was still so sick I could barely get out of bed. I stopped it and started Rubraca. That was better but after taking it for four weeks I started getting really sick again.

My Journey
I started the maintenance drug
Lynparza
in December 2017 and have been cancer free since then. I firmly believe in the power of positive thinking, the combination of eastern and western medicine.

Went to Lynparza trial but was not accepted .
After submitting all my records to u. Of Miami for the lymparza trial for targeted drugs for Brca 1 mutation, I met with the chief oncologist. It looked like he was looking for excuse not to let me in. All people in waiting room looked like they were end stage and were in wheelchairs. He kept asking

Lynparza has failed
PSA on the incline again. Scans show mets increasing on right side of pelvis (right side was clear a year ago) and a new spot on ninth rib. Nothing seems to work or work for very long. And lupron induced depression and fatigue doesn't help. Why dont they just remove the rib or the portion with cancer
