BRCA2 positive - need for PARP inhibitor; Rucaparib, others?
Also, what about using other PARP inhibitors, if available, such as
Lynparza
, Olaparib, Nanotization or chemo carboplatin?

Abiraterone plus PARP inhibitors after Taxotere- has anyone received health insurance approval?
I learned from the recent summary of the June 2018 ASCO Annual Meeting that adding a PARP inhibitor (such as
Lynparza
, Zejula) to abiraterone can help stop genetic mutations that allow cancer cells to repair their DNA and keep living, and also improve a patient's ability to use additional drugs in the

post treatment for recurrence
She doesn't have the BRCA gene, but her doctor has still offered an oral medicine -
lynparza
- as it seems to push out the (almost certain) next recurrence. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this drug? Thank you!

Lynparza/Rubraca reactions
I finished my 2nd course of chemo at the end of March and they started me on
Lynparza
at the end of April. It started out okay but after 2 weeks of taking it I started vomiting. The doctors asked me to give it more time because it can take several weeks for your body to acclimate.

Experience with Lynparza (olaparib)
My oncologist is prescribing the PARP inhibitor
Lynparza
(olaparib) for me. This should be a match for my CDK12 DNA repair mutation. Does anyone in the group have experience with this med?

Plan of attack after Chemo
There is a clinical trial running
LYNPARZA
(Olaparib). They can take a biopsy during and after the trial of that painful rib. I dont have to have the genetic match for optimal effectiveness of Olaparib, but to my surprise, Olaparib will be given in this trial even if there is not a genetic match.

Anybody try Keytruda for APC
Chemo, Zytiga, Xtandi, luprin,
Lynparza
. All with no benefits. Looking at my last biopsy I will be trying to get in a trial for Keytruda. Has anybody had any experience with this drug for prostate cancer.

I am new here
I am having a really difficult time with the
Lynparza
. The oncologist tells me that it has the fewest side effects of the PARP inhibitors and asked that I give it another month to see if I adjust. Anyone else with difficulties taking
Lynparza
?

Advanced PCa options. Prescribing doctor disagrees with Specialist
Lam was excited by the very BRACA mutation and recommended
Lynparza
. My dad‘s regular MSO thinks this is ridiculous suggestion and refuses to prescribe it. Again I am racing the clock and feel completely stuck.

Parp inhibitor
I have had 12 rounds of chemo and just started this week on
lynparza
. My ca125 numbers dropped from 607 to 110 after chemo. I plan to discuss more detail with my doctor soon, but does this pill stop progress of growth of cells left, or will it kill them off? And I am brca1. Thank you

Lynparza(Olaparib) just doesn't work at all?
Hi everyone, My mom is BRCA active, and has been on Olaparib on maitenance for 48 days as of today. Her CA125 just keeps rising, from 67.17 (day 0)to 751.6 (day 34). So this means the olaparib is just not working for her at all? Has this been the case for someone else? I always thought the Olaparib

ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium (Olaparib and Durvalumab in metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC))
Olaparib [
Lynparza
] has had success in men with hereditary BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations. As wonderful as newer drugs such as Zytiga are, resistance can lead to the emergence of cells that are very difficult to manage.
