Last night, for the first time in a year or so I missed taking my Lodotra (4mg). This morning I am in no pain. Could this possibly mean my adrenals are perhaps working after all? Having aggressive OA I have often wondered if the pain I have daily is mostly OA and not PMR.

My husband picked up my Lodotra from a different chemist and he said it must be kept in the fridge?!? I read it must be kept below 24 C. ????

Rayos/Lodotra coating is designed to release after 4 hours. I THINK this is if taken in the middle of a meal? "The formulation technology of RAYOS/LODOTRA enables a delayed-release of prednisone approximately four hours after administration.

Have any of you on Lodotra been told to keep them in the fridge?

I have run out of samples and my lodotra from England is on the way. It will not be here for two to three weeks ...so I have to go back to the regular until then. If I wake myself up at 2 AM ...and take the regular ...will it keep me awake. ? I am on 12 mg.

I have just read about delay release Lodotra, has anyone been prescribed this and if so has it helped with the awful morning pain. Can hardly move. I can no longer take NSAID,s due to duodenal ulcer because of long term usage. My ESR & CRP both over upper limits.

I live in UK and was wondering if anyone knew if my GP would let me have a private prescription for Lodotra whether I could mix and match 1mg Lodotra with the prednisolone I have at the moment if I took them at different times?
