Neurological issues/underactive thyroid link?
I asked at the time about contraindications with levothyroxine and
liothyronine
and was told there were none.

London NHS Endocrinologist - Liothyronine
My GP has finally agreed to refer me to an endocrinologist but I see from others stories here that it can be quite a struggle to find a doctor who is open to prescribing
liothyronine

Liothyronine in olive oil from Germany????
Hi i have these capsules and im on t3 only. On yr websight it says these are sustained release t3. I emailed the company who said they were not sustained release they were normal. It is vital on t3 only to only take fast immediate release t3 due to receptor damage slow or sustained release wont latch

Private t3 Rx brand change and tiromel help please
Does anyone know which brand I would be given in the UK, 20mcg

The reduced

Guidelines for prescribing T3
This Guideline from the American Thyroid Association makes me grit my teeth: "While short-term studies suggest that synthetic
liothyronine
may have beneficial effects on weight, lipid levels, and depression in hypothyroid patients, long-term controlled clinical trials using a longer acting form of triiodothyronine

T3 instead of T4
Been to the GP to legalise this, who is happy with it, but when I queried the instructions that come with the SigmaPharm T3 which states "When switching a patient to
Liothyronine
Sodium from...L-Thyroxine..., discontinue the other medication...etc."

Liothyronine no longer available from GP
I have been taking
liothyronine
for about 8 years now. Initially recommended by Dr Skinner, and prescribed via my GP. I have just received a letter today to say that it is no longer prescribed by primary care and that I need to be seen by an Endo.

First time post; long time follower. Please help with new blood test results.
For the last 6 months, I was on Synthroid 112 and I started twice a day 5 mcg of
Liothyronine
. I am having issues understanding my latest results since TSH has jumped big time.

The fight goes on to stay on Liothyronine
After fighting my way back to good health, the fun as started my the drs are refusing to sighn the percription for my Thyroid Lio Medication, they had signed and sent over the Levo. I have worked for months nearly a year reducing it, at one point coming off the medication, my thyroid swelled like crazy

What dose of Liothyronine do I need??
(Cutting a very long story short) I've been recommended by my endo to take
Liothyronine
twice a day, but unfortunately her hands are tied and can't give me a prescription. She has advised me to get in online and mentioned Turkey.

Where can I get T3?
The issue of sourcing
liothyronine
(T3) medicines continues to be a difficult area. Without being able simply to publish a list of sources, we have to rely on the technical equivalent of word of mouth - that is, Private Messages.
