Hello Administrators Do you know anything about this FT3? It’s been recommended that I take 25ug (what does this actually mean?) Merck Novothyral 100 with 75 thyroxine T4. So mixing my thyroxine. It has apparently produced more satisfaction in stabilising better weight. Do you know anything about the

Wish me luck!
My (new-ish) GP is very much a "numbers man" - so not happy when my TSH went too low - but also very risk averse, so referred me to a consultant at the local hospital, who put me on a mix of
liothyronine
and levothyronine.

Mayne Liothyronine
Is anybody using the Mayne brand of T3? I had read that that there were some issues with fillers but I also saw that France managed to get these changed back so I was looking for info on whether this was Ok to take versus Sigma Pharm as it seems Mayne is the cheaper of the two? Any comments most welcome

Is my dose too low?
He’s just prescribed me 10mcg
Liothyronine
and 75mcg Levo but I feel tempted to add a bit more T3... but obviously I don’t have a prescription for that part so would have to buy it online from somewhere. I don’t want to be irresponsible but I feel a bit desperate to feel better.

One more question...?
Having reduced my T4 from 100 mcg to 12.5
Liothyronine
(Tyromel) down from 50 mcg to 12.5 mcg. Should I have stayed on 100 mcg of Levo T4 . I'm thinking a dose of 50 mcg of Levo T4 and 6.25 of
Liothyronine
T3? This dose shouldn't give me any headaches or anxiety/paranoia.

Evidence suppressed TSH isn’t bad
I take levothyroxine and
liothyronine
. I am just off to my appointment. Can anyone provide a link to a good website explaining that low TSH is not going to kill me please? It has always been in the low side but once I started T3 it dropped right down.

Sick euthyroid/coming off meds/sleepless/stiff shoulders/locked jaw
Hello. 4 years ago I started on levothyroxine (75) and
liothyronine
(10). I was borderline hypo but 'idiopathic'; secondary, but not pituitary related. The consultant talked of likely sick euthyroid and to try meds 'for a while'.

Advice please
As I now know for sure I am a poor converter, T3 is needed, and I have brought some Uni-Pharma
Liothyronine
Sodium (Cytomel) 25mcg tabs.

Understanding the test results?
And reducing
Liothyronine
T3 from 50 mcg gradually down to 6.25 mcg. When I woke up this morning I felt great and still do. The headaches have gone , so has the paranoia and anxiety. Lets hope it will last.

I’m losing my mind :(
Worse still, my endo had written to my doctor when the list of meds including
liothyronine
was published to be axed by the NHS. She suggested trying 150mg thyroxine but if I became symptomatic should probably get T3 on a private prescription because of conversion issues.
