6 month T3 trial
I was started on a trial of T3
liothyronine
10mcg and 75mcg Levothyroxine on 10/6/20. Had a blood test at 8 week point. Results are FT4 12.4 (normal range 9-19), FT3 4.7(normal range 2.9-4.9). TSH 0.82 ( normal range 0.35-4.95) I also had a lipid profile.

Obtaining liothyronine on private prescription
What is the cheapest source of
liothyronine
in uk. Used to be lloyds on line but they don’t do private prescriptions anymore. Have been getting it in France but Covid 19 makes that impossible at moment. So very expensive through local pharmacy.

Levothyroxine intolerance
I have kept up the third dose of
liothyronine
5 mcg and there is a little improvement carried over but I don't think it would be a big enough dose on its own without the Levo. I am scared what damage is occurring now because clearly some has been done again, to my joints and muscles.

Private endocrinologist has suggested I try Armour Thyroid
Purely from a practical and cost perspective, would this be favourable over levothyroxine and
liothyronine
? I'm based in the UK and I was under the impression that it's very difficult to get NDT here and I don't know how expensive it is.

How to decide whether to try NDT or T4+T3 combination therapy?
I'm also concerned that NDT might be harder to obtain consistently than
liothyronine
. Thanks in advance!

Lowering T3
I am currently on 40 mcg of
Liothyronine
split into 3 doses. 15mcg, 15mcg & 10mcg. Also 50mcg of levo. All my vitals are good & my vitamins too. I’ve been on this dose for 5 weeks & in the last 3 weeks I’ve been experiencing diarrhoea most days but only in the morning.

The same applies to

American Thyroid Association "Foggy Brain" Survey
Few, anywhere, are offered
liothyronine
, desiccated thyroid or any combination. A bit odd to say "different forms of thyroid hormone replacement therapy". Why do they use the term “foggy brain”? Yes, I have occasionally seen that. But almost universally patients seem to call it “brainfog”.

Questions about adding T3 to levothyroxine for the first time
Hello everyone, I have been given a private prescription for
liothyronine
(2 x 2.5mcg per day) which should hopefully arrive in a couple of weeks. I'm currently on 150mcg levothyroxine which I take at night.
