Can I split my dose of Levo?
Hi, I’m on 75 mcg levo + 10 mcg
liothyronine
. I feel fine after around 14 but before that I have terrible anxiety and faster heart rate. I think it’s the levo. I have always been very sensitive to high doses. If I’m at top of the range I feel this jittery anxious feeling, but all day long.

This is a good example of what present accepted assumptions are regarding T4 treatment, combination therapy re control by TSH levels
Increasingly hypothyroid patients demand higher doses of L-T4 or
liothyronine
(L-T3) or animal thyroid extract, often purchased online, and titrate the dose against symptoms, [u]although ample evidence suggests that combination treatment (L-T4 with L-T3) is no more effective than L-T4 alone.

Advice about low temperature please
My basal temperature is 35.5 and never above 36 despite levothyroxine 125 and
liothyronine
20 per day. Should I take any notice? I feel very much better with the addition of lio, but honestly don’t know what normal is!

Looking for options regarding treatments
Had
Liothyronine
added and it improved somewhat but did not feel good enough. Researched and found out about NDT and because of financial situation could not afford private endo, so self sourced , first WPThyroid, then Naturthroid. Did really well on both of those until their supply went to hell.

Showing the pharmacological relationship of T4 and T3
The answer comes out as 3 units of T4 are equivalent to 1 unit of T3 - ie weight for weight T3 is 3x more active pharmacologically than T4
The pharmacodynamic equivalence of levothyroxine and

I feel like I recover much better from exercise on 25mcg of liothyronine, but my FT3 is above range even on 17.5mcg...
Hello everyone, I was on 25mcg lio from about November until January and during that time I started exercising again consistently and rarely felt fatigued the next day. But when I had my FT3 tested in January, it was slightly above the range. I slowly tapered the dose down to 15mcg when it was at its

Nadine Dorries says women should stand up to doctors
If
liothyronine
and desiccated thyroid are off the menu, what are they supposed to do? Take on the clinical commissioning group (CCG), the RMOCs, the endocrinologists, the NHS people who agree crazy prices, the CMA who are supposed to be investigating?

Trial T3
I’ve been taking 125mcg levothyroxine in the morning, my endocrinologist has said to reduce it to 100mcg and add in 5mcg
liothyronine
three times a day. Should I take it with my levothyroxine in the morning, before bed and take the third dose somewhere in between? Thanks in advance 😊

What to expect from T3?
Hoping that some kind soul will give me some insight… My endo prescribed 5mg twice a day of
liothyronine
thybon henning which I am starting on Monday. He said there were no side effects but I’m always dubious. I am also taking 50mg of levo.

Exercise, overtraining, liothyronine and reverse T3
I thought that because I take
liothyronine
now, I can somehow avoid this problem, that the
liothyronine
would help me recover, but I've noticed extreme hunger, fatigue, poor sleep and depressed mood the more exercise I do. I didn't really link it to my exercise or to my thyroid until just now.

T3 (Liothyronine) - how to source?
Helpful advice on here that adding
Liothyronine
to my levothyroxine might mean improved symptoms - I've been down the private endo route before (to trial erfa) and it was pretty expensive and not that helpful/sustainable.
