My nhs Endo has prescribed T3 trial
Today she said she will prescribe a 3-6 month trial of T3 (
Liothyronine
). I asked about getting my bloods done before I start but she said it wasn’t necessary as my last ones were ok.

Getting hold of liothyronine
I take
liothyronine
and am looking for a less expensive way of procuring it. I have heard that some people get it from Europe. How do I go about this? Do I need to see a doctor abroad?

Blood results if you can help please
I am aware of today's news article re
Liothyronine
which has finally been exposed, so hopefully the government will allow it to be prescribed again eventually. I hope I haven't repeated myself too much from earlier correspondence. Please find blood tests attached.

I’m taking 10mcg
Liothyronine
(split) and 62mcg Levothyroxine per day. This has confused me and probably will confuse Endo. I am also experiencing more migraines and gastro issues which I am struggling with. I have been gluten free for 4 years. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Private endo appointment on Monday. Should I push for T3?
Do my recent bloods suggest I'm a good candidate for
liothyronine
? I'm counting down the hours until my appointment. I'm much improved compared to how I have been but I'm desperate to live and be able to work properly again.

Update on oestrogen treatment for non absorption of liothyronine. A warning!
He was very definite that my hypo symptoms were due to me not absorbing
liothyronine
as I should. He was very definite that the cause of this was my having lost too much oestrogen when I went through the menopause some twelve years earlier.

Advice on medication
My gp decided that I no longer needed to take thyroxine and said I only needed to take
liothyronine
so some months back he advised 30 micro in the morning and another 30 after lunch.

Visit with endocrinologist this week... first after starting NDT
I am very sensitive to
liothyronine
), and to decrease the levothyroxine by the approximate amount of T4 in the NDT (9 mcg)... so I decreased the levothyroxine to 37.5.

ADVANZ FINED! Fines of over £100m dished out for unfair pricing of liothyronine
Drug firm fined for huge price rise that hit NHS https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-58009149 This is AMAZING and a long time coming. I wonder how quickly we can expect to see prices dropping and a change in prescribing tact…

Dosing T3
I've been self-dosing T3
liothyronine
only for many years (12.5 mcg at 8 a.m., 12.5 mcg at 11:30 .m., 12.5 mcg at 3:30 p.m., and 6.25 mcg at 7:30 p.m.) Chronically low-energy, I tried adding another 6.25 mcg to my 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. doses, attempting to overcome a late-afternoon energy slump.

I would be grateful if someone could inbox me their reliable
liothyronine
supplier. Mine seems to be out of stock apart from tiromel, which doesn't agree with me. TIA C

What brand of levothyroxine?
However have been taking
liothyronine
for a while. Not quite the way alot of people start out and still trying to get optimal. My questions are why does Teva brand not agree with some people? Also is there one that does to agree with people more? and is it advisable to stick to the same brand?

Use of thyroid hormones in hypothyroid and euthyroid patients: a 2020 THESIS questionnaire survey of members of the Hellenic Endo Society
We have often discussed Greece and their use of T3 (*
liothyronine
) - moist especially due to the very reasonable price of their own T3 product from Uni-Pharma. For that reason, I half-expected an article regarding thyroid treatment in Greece to see T3 rather more visible than in the UK.

Subclinical Hyperthyroidism
I have been taking 75mcg of Levothyroxine and 5mg twice a day of
Liothyronine
. Is this normal? I ask this as recently I have been getting heart palpitations but I am not sure whether this is due to stress or thyroid issues?

Associations between osteoporosis and drug exposure: a post-marketing study of the World Health Organization pharmacovigilance database
It is difficult to separate out the effects of inadequate thyroid hormone, excess thyroid hormone (whether exogenous or endogenous) and optimal thyroid hormone, especially when we consider
liothyronine
(T3) as well as levothyroxine (T4).
