Is blood test for TSH level when taking liothyronine only skewed?
I recall reading somewhere on here that the TSH level when on liothyronine only is not accurate as a diagnosis for increasing/decreasing doses. I have been searching on here for info, to no avail. Can anyone help please.

Low tsh 0.01 and low t4 12/13 even on levothyroxine
I have had bloods done and tsh is majorly supressed and t4 is low even on levothyroxine. 12/13 t4 (range 9-19) I have tingling and leg swelling daily and I'm unsure what this may be. Any advice or similar story's would be helpful

Levothyroxine linked to high blood sugar readings.
I got up this morning and planned to check my blood sugar but was wondering why the readings lately have been running a little high and just thought i would look up if my levothyroxine might have anything to do with it. I am glad i found your site, i learned a lot from here. I am on a low dose, 25mg

How to persuade TSH-obsessed Endo I'm not over-replaced (on T3-only)?
Hello, I am posting because I'm hoping for some advice for an Endo meeting on Tuesday. There is a possibility that the NHS Endocrinology team at my local hospital might just be contemplating 'widening' their approach to T3 (historically for me, a violent slam in the face 'NO! Get off T3 immediately or

lower levothyroxine
I had a blood test done in October 2023 it came back with my TSH at 0.01 (range 0.27-4.2) and my T4 was 17.9 (range 12-22) so the doctor reduced my Levothyroxine from 75mcg to 50mcg one day and 75mcg the next. In January 2024 I had another blood test done, unfortunately they didnt do my T4 even though

Levothyroxine no longer effective
Hi Folks , I'm struggling. My medication is no longer working. my Levothyroxine 100mg was working - from November 2022 TSH 0.49 shot up to TSH 7.18. February 2024 safe regions 0.27-4.2. I have no clue how this can change so dramatically I need some kind of explanation. Can someone help me.

Stopping Block and Replace
After 8 long years I have decided to try stopping BR ( 5mg. Carbimazole and 75 mcg. Levo ) to check for remission. Just come back from GP appoint. that unexpectedly went well ( usually try and avoid them for thyroid issues) I chose a GP trainer hoping he might know a bit more about AITD. Receptionist
