Thyroid Lab Interpretation Help - Low Frees + Low Cortisol
Hi All, Firstly, thanks for any advice any of you may have! I was chronically fatigued and in mild pain when a functional MD said according to my blood work they thought I had slight thyroid dysfunction. They started me on NP Thyroid 30 mg and I felt amazing! Energy was back, headaches stopped, cycles

Has anyone with Hashimoto's tried LDN (Low dose naltrexone) and had good results and symptom relief?
Hello! Finally found a wonderful clinic that specializes in complete hormone balancing. Peak Medical Clinic in Medford, Oregon. I have been struggling for two years and Endocrinologist and regular doctor wouldn't do adrenal, sex hormone, and complete thyroid testing to figure out why I can't tolerate

Thyroid and Adrenals
Hi, I have low morning cortisol and just don’t have the energy to make it through the day. I take NDT and top up with t3 but my t4 levels are always low and out of range. I think when I try to raise my NDT it potentially back fires due to low cortisol? I have had 3 SST tests done and I pass every time

Good evening all, I’ve been lurking for a while and have finally got my numbers from my endo and wondered if you wouldn’t mind helping me make sense of them please? I saw my endo today and she said I have to have further tests into low cortisol levels - what could that mean? I was on 225mcg of Levo

Have I gone overactive?!
Can anyone please help with my latest results? I'm confused! I saw a gyne doctor the other day regarding pelvic pain and she said that it could be down to my thyroid being overactive. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in my early 20s, and Hashimoto's six years ago, but she thinks I've tipped

T3 pooling
Today I stumbled upon an interesting thing: T3 pooling, most often caused by low (sometimes high) cortisol levels. The reason I stumbled upon it was because, our of sheer desperation, I decided to go down the t3 only route after reading several articles about rT3 dominance and, lately, "The paleo thyroid

High blood pressure...would appreciate input!
I just had my third GP appointment in less than three weeks. I've had high blood pressure for years. It was first discovered back in 2000 when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's. I was then told it would normalise once my TSH normalised on levothyroxine. However, it never fully has so, back in 2013, I

Can someone explain what my Blood Test Results mean?
In 2018 I got a blood test following a Kallman Syndome diagnosis (age 17 at time of test), but several problems have arrisen since then. After several months I finally got access to the blood test results but its essencially Chinese to me. The Dr told me that testosterone was far below average and I

Continue medication maybe Adrenal fatigue
I suspect I may have some adrenal/cortisol issues but maybe they are hypo symptoms. I’ve tried NDT twice and both times have ended disastrously with me feeling horrible for months and doctors telling me it’s all JUST anxiety. I could never raise NDT past 1 1/2 grains and have terrible symptoms like back

Taking Hydrocortisone with NDT - Timing of Hydrocortisone doses
Currently taking 3 grains of Armour Thyroid at 7am along with 5mg Hydrocortisone. I then take another 5mg Hydrocortisone at 11am. My GP has now increased my daily Hydrocortisone from 10mg to 15mg but has written on the prescription to take 10mg in the morning and 5mg at night. Does anyone else take

Endo letter regarding t3 assessment
I just received a letter from the endocrinologist I saw over two weeks ago. He stated that having spoken to me he felt that some of the remaining symptoms I’m experiencing may be alleviated by by combination T4/T3 therapy. Apparently I have no palpable goitre and am clinically euthyroid. My results

Cortisol question
I'm taking ACE (adrenal cortex extract) for low cortisol. When I do another saliva test, if it has improved- do we stop the ACE or is it a lifelong supplement like thyroid meds which I'm on Thanks all

Cortisol saliva testing
Sorry if this question has been asked before. What is the best way to decide if you suffer from adrenal fatigue: saliva testing (four times a day), blood, or 24 h urine? I am asking because the Hertoghe doctors in Belgium only use 24 h urine analyses, although I've read that saliva testing is the only
