My pharmacist kindly spared me some time yesterday to discuss a new drug that I have been prescribed
Ivabradine
. I have never heard of this drug and was keen to learn some more about it given my reaction to other drugs in the past.

Living with IST
After many A&E visits I Finally got admitted to the cardiac ward and met my specialist who diagnosed me with IST after a 3 days monitor on ward and some other tests (echo, urine collection, etc) I started on
Ivabradine
and had a massive improvement which I’m so grateful for.

Tachycardia... and all that comes with it
Was started on
Ivabradine
which made symptoms much worse so having to come off that. Has anyone else experienced ongoing breathlessness, ligtheaded/dizzy, fatigue, headaches, eye pain/blurring? I go hypertensive when symptomatic so not classic POTS. Any advice would be appreciated x

Angina or acid reflux?
I was diagnosed with micro vascular angina four years ago and have been on
ivabradine
since. I've been having heartburn on and off for years, went for an endoscopy yesterday to see if it was due to acid reflux, but it all came back normal.

Confused and frustrated
I can't take beta blockers and have since been on dilatizem then nicorandil plus
ivabradine
which nearly blew my head off. I am now just on
ivabradine
and my symptoms are not under control, tired in pain and really scared I'm going to have a major cardiac event.

PoTS
Hi, I was diagnosed with PoTS last summer and currently taking
ivabradine
. Unfortunately my doctor has never heard of it and doesn’t offer any advice which is quite frustrating. If anyone has any tips on how I could manage it I would appreciate it.

Curious as to what medications y'all use
I was recently put on corlanor ( i know its
ivabradine
), i have tried beta blockers in the past and they gave me terrible side effects. Unfortunately even with the well received feedback on corlanor, my side effects were too much for me to handle no matter the relief it gave my heart.
