Am I experiencing a blood pressure med reaction?
I'll try to be kind of brief... I'm 35 year old male, married w/ two precious girls (4yrs & 3yrs old). About 6 years ago we discovered that I had high blood pressure while checking bp at my inlaws house. We have high bp and high cholesterol in my family so we decided to go to "the families" cardiologist

Pomegranate Juice
I copied the following from the MedlinePlus website. Sorry for the long post but I thought some might find it interesting that one juice can impact so many things. How can anyone know what drugs or supplements really do to each of us since we are all physically different, eat differently, etc.? I

Blood test result
Salt level just up to 133 which is apparently just in range, that's after taking 600mgs tablet. Once a day and being very liberal with the salt on my food plus 3 packets of the electrolytes a day! I've to keep taking them and he's asked for a test for vitamin D on the same batch of blood. The receptionist

It's all so confusing !!
Hi all it's been a while since I've been on. Not long out off hosp again was rushed in this time. Collapsed and was suffering alot of pain, eyes was very heavy and couldn't get them open. Ambulance men found it very hard to get me out of my home as I was screaming with pain. The pain is all over my body

I have SLE, diagnosed in April 2000. I have no-one looking after me for my Lupus. What blood tests should I be having if any, and how often?
I have a kidney transplant, this is due to Lupus 'killing off' my kidneys, eye troubles - light sensitivity and multiple episodes over many years of scleritis, rarely iritis too. I have highly sensitive, itchy skin, and quite fatigued mostly, often feel completely rubbish, systemically just not right

Prescribed Tizanidine for migraine headaches
Hi Everyone, Wondering if anyone has used tizanidine for pain? My migraine doctor recently prescribed it for the combination headaches I now get, which seem to be both from the temporal arteritis and migraine headaches. I have spoken with my doctor about side effects and will be seeing her Wednesday

Here is report on the AF clinic at the Drs surgery.
We were a group of ten people who all had AF, some of the group had had ablations. A nurse lead the talk about the condition. It was mainly to inform and spread the availability of the help and support to be had from this website and the AFA in general. The people present all seemed to be well informed

Using Supplements
As a lupus survivor, I have all the common daily ailments, such as pain and fatigue. However, recently I have found that certain supplements which I have been taking for about 2 months, have helped eliminate the pain and I am not as tired as I was before. I would not recommend that anyone take anything

Wonder what would happen without free prescriptions...
Crime, thyroid and amusement don't often go together. But I couldn't help laughing at this story today: The Blotter: A burglar took what? Fri, 10/15/2010 - 12:57pm — Chris Essig If you are going to burglarize a motor vehicle (which I highly suggest you don't do) what would be the first thing you
