Symbicort and increased hunger, bizarre dreams?
Strange question but has anyone experienced increased hunger on symbicort or any other steroid inhaler. Since I've been on it I've been really hungry and keep getting the munchies π€£π. Not going to do my waistline any good (already got bigger during lockdown lol). Am I going mad or have others experienced

Hi, only recently diagnosed after 5 years of on off symptoms where my GP said was anxiety. Got fed up and paid for private assessment. Had dye injected CT, full lung function tests and examined by specialist. Had lung function tests about 8 weeks after starting beclamecasone. Exceeded average on it

Reaction to inhalers
Here we go again... another reaction to a new inhaler to try! Using Spiriva and have eye irritation and needed to see the eye doctor. He put me on an antihistamine eye drop and comfort drops. Seems like I have had a reaction to Advair and now Spiriva. He told me to use the drops for 1 week and see if

If it is not asthma, could there be something wrong with my lungs? π€π€
Hi. What is your opinion on this? Do you think I have Asthma or something else (perhaps a lung problem)? π I'm 19 years old and have been significantly out of breath always, from the age of 6/7. It was not until I was about 15, that I was officially diagnosed with asthma by the gp after I had an asthma

Most people with asthma
Assuming it's not those with severe asthma, so does it include those on daily strong steroid
inhalers
, those on lesser steroid
inhalers
or maybe those that only need to use their ventolin every now and then? Would be grateful to have your views on this.

I noticed a few months ago I was using my
inhalers
more than before, I kinda left it for a bit because I did sometimes use them more often. But a few weeks ago I started getting a pain in the top right hand side of my chest.

wanting to stop using Seretide
I basically ignored the new
inhalers
as most I'd already tired before I settled with Seretide as it was the least worst.

Inhalers with osteoporosis
I have osteoporosis T-3.4 Diagnosed over 2 years ago and chose not to take meds. Also have mild bronchiectasis and asthma. I take Clenil inhaler and occasional Salbutomol. Recently discovered these are not good for bone health. Anyone else had the dilemma of whether to continue with them?

How long does montlelukast take to start working?
Iβm thinking of asking my nurse for montelukast as an add on for my current flare up. Iβm due to finish pred and worried the SoB will flare up again. Wondering if montelukast will even things out a bit π€. Would I have to wait 8 weeks as with a steroid inhaler for it to work? π€·π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈ
