Immunotherapy (asthma and food allergy)
I have been wondering if anyone here has been referred for
immunotherapy
/xolair? I have asthma, eczema and a food allergy and I wondered if there was a criteria to qualify to be referred?

Gefitinib break. 2 new tumours
I am now back on the full dose while we wait for test results for osimertinib and
immunotherapy
treatments. Has anyone had any experience of taking a short break and their cancer recurring or growing in such a short time.

First recurrence and immunotherapy being offered!
One arm is one
immunotherapy
agent and the other arm is two
immunotherapy
agents. The side effects are two pages long but the most common are fatigue and nausea.

At home , but in a lot of pain
Hi all, I'm on my second round of
immunotherapy
which is yervoy and opdivo. I don't seem to be having a lot of side effects other than pretty bad pain on my right side which I think is probably my liver.

? Treatment
Is the treatments are about the same however the team in Utah recommends radiation and then
immunotherapy
. The one I am seeing here in Colorado has said that she wouldn't do the radiation because the
immunotherapy
will take care of fighting the cancer.

Oncology appointment- Carboplatin and Pemetrexed. Also a skin met....
My mum is also eligible for
Immunotherapy
but they want to see the response to chemotherapy first. Whilst in the office my mum mentioned a little lump on her scalp near the hairline which has been noticeable for a few weeks. The oncologist looked at it and said he thinks it's a skin metastasis.

Cancer patients' grey hair unexpectedly darkens in drug study
Chemotherapy is known to make patients’ hair fall out, but the 14 people involved were all being treated with new
immunotherapy
drugs that work differently and have different side effects from chemotherapy.

Ibrutinib as frontline??

It was first made routinely available to leukaemia patients through the NHS in 2016, apparently after years of campaigning by Bloodwise, the cancer research charity. I've

Lutetium-177 PSMA - A new experimental treatment
Alan Lawrenson posted an interesting reply to a recent posting on "Cracking neck pain" in which he referenced clinical trials in Australia of a new treatment. I looked that treatment up and found this article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5355374/ My inexpert reading of that article

Dad's advanced Gleason 9 PCa
I have been reading up and am hoping my dad could qualify for
immunotherapy
as well. I am waiting to hear back from his oncologist regarding the possibility of
immunotherapy
and why he does not recommend a PSMA or PET scan at this time.
