Insomnia Strikes Again 😂
Jimmy had his monthly lab work on Monday that is required to make sure he's able to continue with the
immunotherapy
. We saw the oncologist today and had some hopeful news. Both his AFP tumor marker and his LACTATE DEHYDROGENASE have dropped since last month.

What are the side effects of immunotherapy?
Hello, I have been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer and the recommended treatment is
immunotherapy
, as the biopsy showed 90% compatibility with
immunotherapy
. What kind of side effects should I expect?

Opdivo immunotherapy
Jimmy starts the
immunotherapy
this morning. Insurance denied the Tecentriq and Avastin combo at last minute so we're going with Opdivo instead. His insurance company is changing at end of month so Oncologist says can always try again for approval with new company.

Don't understand my results
I am on
immunotherapy
for kidney cancer that has spread to my bones (2 places).
Immunotherapy
is know to possibly affect Thyroid. Every 3 weeks my thyroid is tested. On average my TSH has been in the 3.01 to 3.57 range, typically about 3.3x. The highest ever (since Januayy or 2020) was 3.57.

Tregs- regulatory T Cels this look interesting
So if doctors could develop a way to tweak production of Tregs so as to dial it down, perhaps this could be used as an
immunotherapy
for patients with advanced prostate cancers.

Extrapulmonary small cell cancer
We received the tumour sequencing results and there are no targetable genes for
immunotherapy
. I am just wondering if anyone else has been in the same/similar situation, and what possible treatments there are that could be available to her?

My latest very sad news
My beloved husband had been on
immunotherapy
(Keytruda) for lung cancer. He was doing so well - until he developed meningitis and was taken off the programme. He was out on steroids. He was observed and had MRI scans. Six months later he went on to chemotherapy.

Immunotherapy Schedule
I'm being put forward for
Immunotherapy
after very successful Chemo & Radiotherapy. Understand that the procedure will be every 3 weeks, but what happens if there is a clash with other events?

I have been put forward for the horrendous lung lobotomy surgery. They would like to mop up with chemo afterwards.
Has anyone been through all this and was wondering is it possible to have
immunotherapy
after the surgery, I’m terrified of having chemo.

I wasn’t able to save Daddy. But I will see him again.
Duke Oncoligist didn’t decide to do
immunotherapy
until November 2, 2020 and by then Dad was weak. He went without any treatment the month of October. My dad received 1 immunology treatment at Duke on 11/2/20.

10 Years With CLL: Two Trials & Lifesaving CAR T-Cell Therapy
So, you had the leading edge of
immunotherapy
, really. Coaxing your immune system, engineering it, to fight the CLL, which had been so difficult for your body over so many years to have a lasting response. Are you a believer?
