Allopurinol
When I 1st started taking
ibrutinib
I was prescribed 300 mg allopurinol. But as my initial cramps and aches faded after a few weeks I never took the drug as I did not want to take to many tablets. I still get periods where I get aches cramps etc but I can deal with that.

Need advice on treatment options for relapsed SLL
My issues w
Ibrutinib
are cost especially when I go on Medicare in 2 years and more important, the fact that it can just stop working, or worse yet cause the disease to transform to something worse. Renee

New poster... Tirabrutinib study
Have great hopes for tirabrutinib, which I've heard described as a version 2 of
ibrutinib
, both being BTK inhibitors. I'll try to keep you all apprised of my progress and experience with this treatment.

Being on ibrutinib for 3 and a half months and had a pathological femur neck fracture. Biopsy indicated CLL infiltration on bone.
She was on
ibrutinib
for around 3 and half months already before that and it was suspended for almost 4 week because of this event. Now
ibrutinib
is resumed (since last Friday).

Hair dye on ibrutinib?
Hi guys. Has anyone dyed their hair while on Ibruitinib? As far as I know it is an inhibitor rather than chemo.

Venetoclax/Ibrutinib trial needing surgery
Hi, I have been on
Ibrutinib
for 6 months and added Venetoclax 2 weeks ago. My WBC is in range and my Lymphocytes and Neutrophils are within a few points of being in range already. Unfortunately, I tore the meniscus in my knee and a flap is in the joint creating lots of pain.

I've just reviewed treatments and am more confused!
After a lot of reading, this is how I sum up the current state for my mutated 13g del state: - FCR is - as I understand - not advised as I'm aged 65 and had recent pneumonia -
Ibrutinib
has side-effects but is available in the UK (I think?)

Monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis or MBL and a new clinical trial for those resistant to ibrutinib and more
I have posted some information about a trial for patients with relapsed refractory CLL who have received 2 or more prior treatments, including treatment with a BTK inhibitor such as
ibrutinib
or acalabrutinib.

In Scotland ; SMC approves Ibrutinib
Apologies for my tardy post but the Scottish Medicines Consortium has mimicked the earlier NICE decision to approve
Ibrutinib
as a second line treatment. See extract from their April newsletter: "Also accepted through the PACE process was
ibrutinib
(Imbruvica).

Ibrutinib and Medicare
I don't want to start treatment with
Ibrutinib
. I've so much about the cost of
Ibrutinib
as well as the side effects. I checked in my area of NJ with Medicare, the out of pocket cost for
Ibrutinib
is over $700 a month.

Ibrutinib and fever
I am on my 11th month of
Ibrutinib
. Have not had any side effects except for itchy skin, but suddenly started developing diarrhoea and fever just above 37 degrees. It makes my skin feel prickly and irritated. Paracetamol gets rid of it quickly but it keeps coming back.
