Ibrutinib for all
I’d say this was good news to come home from. Well done to all who wrote to their MP in the summer about this.

I’m 63, finished FCR in November 2015, just started
ibrutinib
week ago last Saturday. Lot of side effects, mostly achy joints, bones, general weakness and not much appetite. The later is helping me with my weight—lol Anyway. Hope symptoms get better after these first couple of weeks. Randy

Bone Marrow Biopsy and pain
I've been on the
Ibrutinib
/Venetoclax trial for 8 months now and last Friday my blood test came back CLL free. I underwent yesterday my 2nd bone marrow biopsy since I enrolled the trial. My bones are very dense and the first biopsy was nothing else than a torture with excruciating pain.

UPDATE: Mom's CLL transformed to PLL
And
Ibrutinib
treatment only does not seem to be an option. I dont want to put her through chemo. I am devasted. I didnt tell her she needs to do the bone marrow because I know she will be so scared. She lost her memory during an anesthesia and I know she wont accept another one.

Ibrutinib bruising
Hello, My partner has been on
Ibrutinib
for almost a year now and is doing incredibly well on it. We have noticed one thing though. If he bumps himself, he gets the biggest almighty bruises. He had a small one on his backside and it has definitely got bigger.

Newbie on Ibrutinib
Started on
Ibrutinib
capsules (3 per day) in June 2017 and with the exception of shifting bone pain, more frequent bowel movements and itchy bumps/minor rashes, the results have been very good. Wish that I could have skipped the chemo and gone directly to
Ibrutinib
but then again.....who knew?
