My daughter has a lingering headache from viral meningitis that she had. It started two weeks ago and has not had a fever since Thursday.
She started with a headache two weeks ago, then came the fever, stiff neck, loss of appetite. She is getting better but her head hurts all the time. Her school district started on aug 26th and she has missed that first week of school, plus this week so far. Texas has a strict attendance policy and she

From Vietnam to Vesicare in 50 Short Years
“It seems like only yesterday.” It’s an expression as worn out as those of us old enough to utter it routinely. But it captures our ethereal sense of time as we watch our major life events unfold. It seems like only yesterday: When a busload of nervous USMC recruits arrived at Parris Island, SC,

Maybe have APS...not sure
Hi, all! First I just have to say that this is the best website that I have come across so far. Reading everyone's stories and comments helps me know that I am not the only one struggling. Anyway, I’m not sure if I should feel relief, fear or both. Back on 2/27/13 I had my fourth miscarriage since

New and in the diagnosis process
Hi everyone! I am so grateful to have found this site!! I hope you don't mind me being here even though I am in the US. I don't have my diagnosis yet, but we are in the process. My name is Wendy, I'm 30 yrs old, mom of 3 kids (3, 5, and almost 12). I stay home with them now which is a blessing

Pain management
What suggestions do people have for pain management? I have tried chiropratic intervention, massage therapy, cortizone shots and nerve blocks, accupuncture, heat and cold pacs but still have an unbelievable amount of pain. I cannot do a quarter of what i used to do and my sleep is constantly interrupted

Just a little info I have on my facebook related to Fibro
People with fibromyalgia say that their muscles feel like they have been pulled or overworked, and sometimes they twitch or cramp.8 Even the skin may feel badly sunburned.9 To help your family and friends relate to your fibromyalgia symptoms, have them think back to the last time they had a bad flu.
