'at my wits end' kinda day.
i was on
humira
from 2014 until about a year and a half ago when it stopped working. Since then i have been to hospital atleast every 2 weeks, to get it drained and have steroid injections, totalling definitely over 15 but ive stopped counting.

IMRALDI v HUMIRA update
to the helpline ...received two phone calls, an early review date in 3 weeks time (not waiting till January) but the best call of all was to let me know that my Consultant had reviewed my history, my current condition report and blood tests (unremarkable despite symptoms) and agreed I can go back on

My rheumy wanted to put me on
humira
but I guess thats for the rich and famouse here in the states. I have been on methotrexat and it was great until I got a perforation in my intestine. I have been on lafluentamide and it isn't really doing it for me besides giving me diarhea.

What is the next course of treatment if NONE of the RA medications work?
Anyone know what happens if after many many attempts of different RA medications such as Methotrexate,
Humira
, Enbrel, Xelzanze, infusions such as Acterma and Remicade do NOT work on me to combat endless inflammation & endless flares? I cannot stay on high does of Prednisone forever.

Coming to Terms with RA
I really hope
Humira
will be the answer for me. There aren’t any support groups in my area so I really feel isolated. Being able to get to work everyday so I don’t lose my current job is the only good thing I can hope for at the moment.

Curious to know...
I finally was able to get pain relief from
Humira
back in January. After 2.5 years of trial and error with DMARDS and Prednisone with no improvement,
Humira
truly felt like a God Send! I had thought my new normal, to look forward to, would be a life of pain and being nearly bed bound.

Flare on Actemra
Enbrel,
Humira
and Orencia were all ineffective. Since on Actemra I was able to slowly reduce medrol from 12mg to 5mg, then boom, major flare last week. I went back to 6mg 2 days ago and beginning to feel better.

Trying to stay off Prednisone for my Psoriasis
During all this time I was trying different biologics that you see on tv -
Humira
, Stelara, Cosentyx, Taltz and also Otezla which is a pill. Dr. are thinking now that my results with these drugs were skewed by the Prednisone i took.

Increase in medication
After realising that it was probably not a good idea to up my mtx (even if by injection) due to my slightly raised liver results (which pre date diagnosis) she suggested adding in either sulfasalazine (consultant doesn’t favour this as much)
Humira
or baricitinib (olumiant).
